Description
One of these days I'm going to do an artwork of some other comic book character. Till then, here's yet another Black Widow fan art.Model: Ethereal RoseΒ
Reference photo courtesy of Weapon Outfitters
Materials used: Mitsubishi unipins, Copic sketch markers, 2H pencil, Faber-Castell PITT brush pens, white charcoal pencil (for highlights)
Taken and edited with my iPhone and VSCOcam
I've been a big fan of Weapon Outfitters, mainly the photo shoots that they do with some lovely models which are all done very well without resorting to pandering as most other girls and guns photoshoots do.
I've got maybe one or two more of these coming up soon.Β

This is so awesome! Love the inclusion of a sniper rifle. Indeed, I'm not big on overly pandering cosplay either. I take it you base it off someone's cosplay?

Thanks! It's an assault rifle, but I suppose it could look like that.
As I mentioned in the description, Weapon Outfitters. I should warn though that they're very pro 2nd-Amendment which is understandable since that's the market that they cater to. But it's mostly just accessories to make guns look cooler.
Most of their photo shoots and ads are like modern designer clothes styles, more subtle and business casual.

I wanted Natasha to see your artwork. That is her icon.

Very nice. I like the realistic detail.
I still think you should do some art on the Kurdish female fighters.

I'll see what i can do, what's with your insistence that i draw them Kurds tho?

The fact that they're going up against a much stronger enemy and fighting for the survival of their people is was really got me. ISIS is better-funded, better-equipped, and has a lot more people, yet the Kurds haven't quit. No matter how bad the odds are, the Kurdish people keep fighting. Even if all they can do is fight for the sake of dying fighting, that still hasn't deterred them. A lot of military enthusiasts here on DeviantART like to focus on advanced technology and weaponry, but the Kurds are stuck with weapons made obsolete years ago. The Kurds have nearly every disadvantage you can think of, but they won't give up.
Also, you're the best I've seen at drawing women in combat. Seriously, I haven't seen anyone do it better than you. I figured you could do them the most justice.

The face was possibly the most difficult to nail, partly since one small f*ck up and it's ruined.
