Description
I had toyed with the idea of using yellow as the colour to represent Thor, or more specifically his lightning (even though lightning isn't actually yellow). However as i thought i about it, i eventually realised red was much more appropriate. His red cape is the most striking part of his otherwise dull/muted attire. It could also represent his impulsive, hot headed side. Plus Marvel seemed ok with using red as a dominant colour in some of the promotional material for Thor. After decided on the colour red, i felt that Thor's cape would made a great backdrop for the poster.
I struggled to come up with a symbol to use in place of the o. I eventually decided to use a a Norse design of Mjolnir to act as a substitute for the Nazi eagle used in the original poster. I'm still not sure if i like the outcome of this and may change it later.
Originally planned to have Loki as the larger background figure on the right hand side. However I felt that this pose conveyed his character pretty well, as was forced to move him to the left side. Although i think it makes some sense to have him as the smaller figure lurking in the background of the poster, devising a new power hungry scheme.

Awesome picture, although Stanley Tucci and Dominic Cooper (which you've spelt copper) weren't in Thor
