DFP = Digimon Fan Project

The DFP is a silly idea that struck me and has evolved into a fan project. I have no idea how far it'll go, or where it'll stop. The idea is based loosely on the Digimon cartoon shows, and will feature my own characters and original Digimon I have created or been inspired to create (So don't expect to see Renamon or the like).

I talked to a variety of friends to get their permissions to use versions of their characters I have altered for this project. Here is the first of those.

Piximon and her first 3 evolutions. All of these were inspired by Suichiro's character "Mel". As such her Partner (I like it better then tamer or trainer as a title) is an altered version of that character named "Melanie Amber Pyre". She's the youngest of the group of 4 kids, coming in at age 10.

Piximon is the basic evolution. It was inspired almost directly from how many Japanese anime & video games show various fairies and pixies, and more specifically Navi from LoZ

Faedramon is inspired more from Mel's fairy form. I made it "cuter" and more super deformed. I'm really happy with how she came out here.

Djinnimon is the final "solo" evolution for Piximon. As she's showing there, she also controls flame. The Digimon of my little imagined scenario are based on the 4 elements. Since Mel is so frequently crossed with her villain persona "Massacre Mel", fire was THE most appropriate.
