You have 2 problems with that theory. 1) You assume it would work in that place, and 2) you assume it would work on her. She's a scientist herself, she'd be prepared for something like that. Let's just say the nullifier fields would prevent a time device from being used.

well the quote is from a Robin Williams routine about guns and was referring to British police. As for the whole security thing, she's clearly a teir two guard, in Canada at least, since she has cuffs and a weapon. A tier one guard, insurance goons like me, would say "Stop...while I run away."

Well technically we have at least two tiers at the moment: your standard goon who's more there for insurance purposes, like me, and special constables who are peace officers. The constables have most of the powers the police do except they aren't allowed to carry lethal weapons. I'm not sure exactly what the armoured car guards count as at the moment since they do get guns. The Canadian government is trying to make all guards into constables eventually but that will take at least another year or two. The guards down in Mexico, I hear, get to carry magnums at certain sites.

Well, we wouldn't want her to succeed at her job, otherwise no one would get to see what's inside.
Maybe you can have the inside of the cover show Tasha hand cuffed next to the door which is now opened. Maybe have her arms forced up and hanging from a pipe in the ceiling?
