I really like this picture. It's one of the closest I've gotten to doing a picture that mirrors the types of art styles that I'm fond of and would like to show in my work.It's funny because it started off as a very hasty and messy sketch in my sketchbook. I got the body and the face to a way that I liked them but when I got to the clothing and the hair I pretty much just scribbled everything. Still I liked it enough to see if I could make something out of it and with the help of my good friend, the smudge tool, I made it work for me. I had fun with Lo's crazy pale colorings, and just the soft muted palette. I definitely prefer low saturation to high saturation in most cases. Any way, hope you like.

Yeah, I have a problem with giving my characters too long of necks. 
The waist comes about, I think, because I do more comic style art and so the proportions of comic anatomy are a little more skewed that what is realistically called for. Couple that with a character that is meant to have a sort of sickly, anorexic build and you get that crazy, skinny waist. But I'll try and watch that in the future as well.

Her neck is a bit long and her waist very, very narrow. Other than that, I like outfit and her hair. And I absolutely adore her expression XD You should upload more pencils!

Aww, you're very sweet. But don't sell yourself short. I really like your drawings. They're so soft and delicate, I always admire people who can work a colored pencil like that. And your photography is beautiful. Anyone who know me knows that's not exactly my strong point.

Yeah, but I could never do photography like you do. Believe me I tried. I took a class in traditional photography and barely passed.

Thank you! I like it well enough. It's definately more the direction I want to head with my art. These past few years I've just been kinda playing around in terms of a style so it's good to have some ideas.
