Description
So, as the year draws closer to conclusion, I give you some WIP sketches for my new, yet unnamed IP (the literary part of which Im planning to start writing ASAP). Mostly it's brainstorming and design streamlining of the two main characters that are now are simply the Operator and the Merc.Lots of these were grawn on my Galaxy Note, and having obtained the new version of this tablet, I'm planning to devote more time on sketching on the go - showcasing more styles and so on as I do.
Please do look at the full version and comments and crit, as always, welcome. It's a whole new direction I'm going in now, so feedback would be nice.

Your cyberpunk-gun-designs are very intresting. Are they based on todays guns or complete homebrew by yourself? And how do they operate? Do they have energy-based ammo or just the normal cartridges? Man, I have so much questions about your cyberpunk stuff...
And for the sketches.... awesome and inspiring as allways.

Huh... This is definitely interesting. Looks a bit like Deus Ex
Honestly the only real things I can pick out that look a bit odd is the guy's anatomy on the fully coloured picture. He looks a bit... Waistless, I guess would be the right term. I understand the knives are in the way, but it still doesn't look quite 100%. The sketch of the upper body on the left nails it though xD

Woo wooo! Cyberpunk plus neon lights= win. I dig your color schemes, so bright that it really stands out. Also, the fact that you're making more variants of head shapes really help differentiate the characters.

Seeing more of it, the understructure, the idea behind the design helps one appreciate the armor a lot more!
Up to the left, is that a flying disc leaving his back?
Low-center, to the left of teh operator with side head armor (which is great BTW), is that a head with 7 electronic eyes?

Однако крутой плащик у Оператора, хотелось бы увидеть его в более детальном виде~ А концепт шлема, я так понимаю, для Мерсы? (можно я её так звать буду?) Бронь у неё, кстати, классная, внушает доверие и даже мысль о том, что и в открытом космосе в такой будет безопасно 0_о.
П.С. а с планша - это не в автодеск скетчбук рисовано, случаем?

Мне нравится пробовать рисовать по-разному в мультяшность есть возможность преувеличить выражения и тп.
Плащ да, сам горжусь -вроде и простой дизайн, но выразительный. Шлем нет, чтонть полицейское скорее.
Да, это Аутодеск Скетчбук Про. Хорошая прога, очь резво работает с Ноутом 10.1.

Ну это отлично, учитывая, что у тебя мультяхи реально забавные выходят и выразительные, хоть комикс рисуй или мультик. : D

Так и знала, да, действительно хорошая штука, до этого искала хорошие проги для рисования на планше и не остановилась, пока им не обзавелась, вполне себе серьёзненько можно рисовать, без смешивания а-ля SAI, но всё же.

I'm guessing that the Operator is the guy while the Merc is the gal.
How far into the future is this IP of yours going? By that I mean, is it going to be like semi-early era of cybernetic implants or full cyborg action? I'm asking since the guy looks more like something that could happen within the century while the gal looks like a love child Adam Jensen and some Borg broad.

о,оооооо,девушка просто офигенна, я особый любитель волос на один бок (ну как у Кремы), плюс так называемые "глаза" добавлят изюма
и проекторы вокруг глаз оператора >___< это гениальная идея

It's nice to see you going in this direction; I think it suits your style more than the gothic-on-steroids Warhammer aesthetic (not that that didn't suit your style). I notice you also see to be avoiding the Warhammer tendency for characters to be festooned with an abundance of cables and pipes, which is one areas one might expect it to share with the cyberpunk aesthetic.
Cool to see some Japanese flavour in there too.

Nah, cables aren't necessarily high-tech. and you can't avoid asian flavors in CP, it's a staple) But shit takes place more in the US, still.
