Man, the movie-style Optimus Prime's just so weird-lookin' compared to the original one... Maybe it's just me, but I'm still havin' a hard time gettin' used to him.
Anyway, this is an awesome drawing. The amount of detail in it is really great, and the colourin' is so nice, it's almost hard to believe it was done by colourin' pencils.

I don't think I'll ever get used to it. I was really disappointed with the first movie, but this new one coming out looks killer!
Most of the colors were markers, but I did further details with pencils.

I honestly didn't like the movie, I drew this for a friend. So unless someone commissions me to draw Megatron (or the sequel's actually good), I probably won't be drawing him.

I'm too close to the original toys & cartoons that any deviation bothered me, and aside from Optimus Prime's voice, it was just nothing like I felt it should have been. The robots themselves were way too busy-looking. When they fought at close quarters I couldn't make out what the heck was going on! Also, the story was pretty lame.
The one part I did like was when Starscream kept changing back and forth fighting the jets.
If someone had made a movie about giant robots fighting each other it probably would have been great (nobody would have compared it to Transformers as long as they didn't transform into anything), but once they stuck the "Transformers" name on it, they had certain expectations to live up to, which I thought they didn't.

Hell yeah! I had a ton of figures, but I lost all their hands. Whoever decided they should be removable should be shot.
I love the cartoon, hated the movie. But this was a gift for someone who likes the film, so it's all good.
