Oh snap! That's stunning man. Love to see work done like this.

So - this model is hollow?

TDBK In reply to EricNocellaDiaz [2009-02-19 05:11:13 +0000 UTC]

Haha! Thanks man!

Not hollow. It's lots of pieces. I could make it hollow. If I were to print it out I would think of a pose and make the pose. Then I would fuse the pieces together.

So the pieces are solid parts like in Rhino?

TDBK In reply to EricNocellaDiaz [2009-02-19 21:53:13 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, each piece is a separate solid. There may be one or two pieces that are hollow now that I think about it though. That can be easily changed though.

well... that is short!...

TDBK In reply to jerungan [2009-01-29 02:36:09 +0000 UTC]

I guess. I still have to set it up or "rig" it. I also need to make some good textures for it. Then make a scene. So, I will have a lot more time put into it by then. Who knows when I'll get back to it though.

Most likely it would be defensive or heavy assault.

Very educational.

Keeps reminding me that one day I still want to do a mech of my own.

You should man. It's fun once you get past figuring out what type of legs arms etc.. Once you have it in your head it usually goes smooth. If you start off with no idea of what shapes your going to use and what type of arms, torso etc.. then it could be a little more frustrating.

Once I finish off a few things I think I'll give it a go.

bl**dy awesome presentation of your work

so now your going to make an Atlas

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TDBK In reply to KitLightning [2009-01-27 19:11:10 +0000 UTC]

Thanks man. I could make an Atlas I guess. I'd have to make it in my style though. Usually I do not like to make things that are trademarked/copyrighted. I like to design my own stuff. Just in case I get a chance to make money off of them. Which has happened!
