:::: UPDATE :::: I re-rendered it. I like this render better!
:::: UPDATE ::::These are the only mechs that I consider good "enough" anymore. All of the older ones I made suck now... when I compare them to these newer ones. I thought I would post this to show that the style is consistant. I also wanted everyone to see the size of the mechs. This was the bast way to show that.
All models made in wings3d, rendered in Vue 4.0!

Indeed, I see the similarities in designs. You know, I also love the render, whatever filters you ran it through made it look like little model toy versions of it that I would see them on top of your computer desk

u need to bend the knees a little on the Majin semushi. Otherwise it looks like a static '80 transformer toy. And seriously, mechs always have bended knees, gives them an illusion of weight and balance.

thanks, but they are kinda old, i design them two years ago, i was thinking that after my APU project i would like to redesign and update all my mecha. u can also clearly see that most of my deisgn is very much heavily influnced by patlabor, gundam, macross and heavy gear. and among most of my favorite is the 'armored core'.
I too also very much envy your skills in handling 3D which is something i have not learn yet, i did try out once on 3D max. but i dropped out halfway because i'm busy with my work. but i do hope i can at least mastered one 3D software in the future, i have too, i'm currently working as a 2D animator but i really don't know what will happen 10 years down the road for us 2D animator, but i do know that i have to be prepare for changes. 3D

Yea, 3ds max is a great program!! But.. Cumbersome and expensive!! I use [link] for modeling.. It's free and a great program!! I use Vue to render and create the worlds --> [link] Version 5 has great rendering abilities and it's not that bad of a price.
