I used Joel Faber's Flipped Disc tutorial [link] - and then applied a Polar Final Xform - tweaked a bit on transforms 3 and 4, then zoomed in to the funky pattern at the top... bingo... one very cool image... try it girlfriend...

Stunning, Tracey! I love the shapes and your color choice just rocks. I'm really digging the shading, too. If you render it at 10K or so quality, I bet it'd knock down the grain quotient, as well.
