We headed into the Tartoks today. I fear i may have packed a little light, though I'm glad i decided to go with the bulkier saddle. The sky was clear when we set off, but near the peak of the trail we found ourselves in the middle of storm. I may have gotten us a bit lost, and Gold did her best not to complain too loudly. Luckily, i reached another team on the com radio before we went too far off track. Seems there are a lot of us out there. Maybe this is more of a big deal than I thought? Seems like a lot of heavy weights if we're just here to check out the local fauna. Gold and I will have to keep our wits about us out here.
