Description
Something different this time. Rather than just doing the 'large' and 'complex' works I've been trying to do as of late, I decided to do something much more 'simple' and more 'fun' for myself.
(its just that doing the more elaborate works is 'exhausting' for me since I feel I must do significantly better than the last one and I seem to run out of ideas and motivation afterwards...)

So I chose to redo/revamp this old thing
Masato color reference WIP (as I look on this old work, I feel so ashamed of this old work since it looks so poorly done... I can't believe that I did so poorly then, but yet at the time, I thought it was good ...)

I kept using earthy colors for his color palate and decided to mute the colors by desaturating them. I wanted to convey the feeling of a being who does not want to be noticed. Essentially, the key word for him is a 'tame wolf' (compared to my other original character Sai who is more 'wild' and 'unfettered'). I also decided to make his pupils simple dots rather than the shojou-esque style I would usually do for the eyes. His outfit hasn't generally changed.

I failed at producing consistency, I think its due to the fact that the emotions were drawn a day apart from each-other... OTL

Out of the expressions I drew, I love the 'Kubric-esque" stare xD ( since I used references for that stare)

If you know my gallery, its no secret I enjoy drawing 'adorable' characters... so I tried to draw a chibified version of my original character...
