I haven't been doing much aside from sketches lately, So I thought I'd upload another older piece just to have something up. This time its Collette. I did this piece with mechanical pencil and made some adjustments to the contrast in photoshop.Related content

Thanks. Yeah, its a bit tricky, but you seem to have a pretty good eye for detail. I am sure you will take to it in time. You should see some of my earlier work...it looked like somebody...lol.

Do you draw your sketches from photo references or in real time?

Sometimes I use photos, sometimes I sketch the person in front of me and add values later, and other time I just do freehand (although that's mostly for the anime style stuff). For this one I used a photo for the skecth, then I just added the values later. I think I was at Starbucks.
