Description This was drawn for 2014's TFcon art competition!
These are the colored in lines to my original line art you may see here - teamzoth.deviantart.com/art/Bo…

I had come in first place last year with my grimlock game of thrones mash-up, which you may see here -
teamzoth.deviantart.com/art/Yo…

So i wanted to do something completely different this year, as to increase my winning chances. it's hard to beat "the king". The voice actress Sue Blu(Arcee) is going to be at the con this year too! so i'm going to get her to sign this

I like to imagine this drawn on the side of the "ark" or perhaps it was graffitied on the outside walls of Autobot city.

I find it funny how they're motto is "til all are one" but that means no more decepticons...just autobots.....hence the title to this illustration!

Thanks! I wanted the shading to be as close to those old bombshell/plane nose pin-ups as possible

Actually Spikeprime you are wrong.

The concept of Till All Are One stems from the words of Primus when he made Cybertron onto himself.

When the Matrix was forged and the original 13 were born the idea was that Transformers would be born, live, love, feel and die and return to the Matrix with those experiences, making it stronger for the day when the Children of Primus must fight the chaos bringer Unicrion and only the dense and combined power of the Matrix and all it's children would be able to beat him.

Till all, are one.

(Also your statements about Armada and Energon are also wrong, seeing how those were Japanese productions called Micron and Superlink which are not tied to the G1 timeline from which this great artist is pulling from)

I have no idea where you got the first part from, about where "Till All Are One" originated--is that just general fan speculation or actually something from one of the shows or comics, because it's not from anything I've seen, and certainly not from the show or movie. Was that in the Mavel comics...? Dreamwave...? Either way, that's not applicable to all cases where the phrase is used, especially not in the original G1 cartoon, since there was no Primus in the cartoon, and Unicron's connection to the Transformers is tangential at best.

Second--I referenced Marvel G1 comics continuity where the 'Bots fully accepted the 'Cons as being one with them. The ones who messed that up were humans and Megatron for being hot-headed and trigger happy at the wrong moment. I'm well aware that Armada (Micron) and Energon (Superlink) aren't connected to G1. I simply felt it would be relevant to bring up since A: it's all Transformers at the end of the day, and B: that continuity also used the phrase "'Till All Are One." Whether they were in the same continuity didn't really matter for the point I was making.

"I find it funny how they're motto is "til all are one" but that means no more decepticons...just autobots....."

Uhuh... so you didn't watch Armada or Energon... or most other versions then? 'Cause that's staight-up wrong. Autobots and D'cons join forces and actually stop the hostility for ten years, until Megatron messes it up. Happened in the original G1 comics too.

Still, great illustration

ProtomanX wrote something about that, below your post.

But aside from that, i watched the original G1, and the animated film, as well as TF animated series and Prime. I've read a few of the comics as well.
Perhaps the decepticons team up or find a co-existence with the autobots for a small measure of time, but they are far from being "one".
besides, when have you heard a Decepticon say "til all are one" and imply all their factions becoming one big friendly one, that follows the teachings of the matrix?

The term applies to the Matrix, and the autobots have full control over that. So they they think they're beliefs, and their ideals are the right ones, and everyone will be "one" when everyone believes this...or so thats what they would explain to you.

I've responded to Protomanx, and I'm afraid his explanation is non-applicable in some cases, like the G1 cartoon. I've explained it more fully there.

ANYHOO!! That's all nerdy pedantic stuff This is a great piece of artwork with a very clean style and excellent naturalistic posing. Love the use of texture and subtle multiple light source shading.
