My entry for 's contest. Thank you for letting me submit it later.
This took sooooooooooo long to make. Now that it's finished, I don't even think I like it anymore!
Plus, it was kinda hard for me to dray Giselle getting slapped and punched in the face cause I really like her xP
But anyway, Aurora's such a badass, she didn't really stand a chance.
I tried to get Giselle's really over the top princessy manners, I think that's what makes her so great.
As for Aurora, I just picture her as a really bitter, sarcastic person xD
Also, LOL at Giselle's foot! It looks like my 2 year-old cousin did it.
AND OMGLOL at the backgrounds! I cannot draw backgrounds to save my life, please try to understand xD
And finally, yeah that forest isn't too magical, but it is magical! Where else could you find animals with human expressions? >.>

You know whats pretty funny about this? I'm pretty sure that Giselle's beginning story was nearly all the way copied from Aurora's.
1. Hidden cottage in woods
2. Animals are friends
3. Dreaming of a prince
4. Almost instantly falls in love with prince (Granted, Sleeping Beauty didn't know it was a prince and was rightfully scared by strange man dancing with her.)
5. Big, scary woman who transforms into dragon.
Both, though, did have different storylines though. I just thought that was weird.

well it is a known fact that giselle's pretty much a mash up of all the disney princesses, kind of like a satire. so yeah i see how some people may find them a bit too similar

I know, but it was still a cute movie.
Yeah, I got it on DVD because I wanted to see it and was unable to get to any movie theater and they have this segment on how they mix-matched all the disney movies moments to get this movie.
