My entry for 's contest. Thank you for letting me submit it later.
This took sooooooooooo long to make. Now that it's finished, I don't even think I like it anymore!
Plus, it was kinda hard for me to dray Giselle getting slapped and punched in the face cause I really like her xP
But anyway, Aurora's such a badass, she didn't really stand a chance.
I tried to get Giselle's really over the top princessy manners, I think that's what makes her so great.
As for Aurora, I just picture her as a really bitter, sarcastic person xD
Also, LOL at Giselle's foot! It looks like my 2 year-old cousin did it.
AND OMGLOL at the backgrounds! I cannot draw backgrounds to save my life, please try to understand xD
And finally, yeah that forest isn't too magical, but it is magical! Where else could you find animals with human expressions? >.>

I don't get it. Giselle went after a dragon with a sword and Aurora cried when she found out she was a princess. Giselle would kick Aurora's ass while Aurora would barely be able to run away through the forest until she broke down in tears.

Aurora cried because she began to think of how much she was going to hate having to wear pink. It was an idea too horrid to absorb all at once.
About Giselle: you're mistaking her lack of a brain with bravery. If she had the slightest glimpse of intelligence, she would have realized that going after a dragon that's 100 times larger than you isn't exactly a good idea. If you think about it, she didn't end up dead because the dragon she was chasing after was too heavy and fell off a building. It's kind of sad, really.

Um, no. Not at all. Aurora was upset because being a princess would ruin her plans she'd already made for her life.
Lack of intelligence does not stop someone from fighting. Besides, if it did, Aurora would never have woken up.

Yeah, she cried because she didn't want to wear pink and THAT ruins her plans for her life. Wouldn't you be upset if suddenly you had to wear pink for the rest of your life? I would. Aurora was.
Fighting just for the sake of fighting is precisely one of the things that make people stupid. Giselle's lack of intelligence didn't allow her to figure out a point to why she was fighting, thus making her so-called "corageous" actions hollow and without meaning. She just saw a sword and a dragon, and went for it.

To be honest, Giselle just feels like a ripoff of all the disney princesses combined, so I think its best that an Original beats her ass down.

I love this so much. Aurora is my favorite princess; every Halloween I want to be her, but I end up forgetting until the last minute. xD And I would love to hate Giselle, but she's so damn cute.

Oops, sorry! I was thinking about something else!
It actually takes loads of time to draw all the panels, because I draw each of them on an A4 sheet. And I often have more than one idea for the same panel, which leads to a lot of rejected drawings in the end.
So, without the coloring, it takes me a few days to get all of that done.
Then comes the coloring and putting all of the drawings in the right order, and that is a total bitch cause my computer is too slow to process some of the things I do xD
