Berwyn Dissonance
Female (she/her)
27 years of age
Chaotic Neutral
Lives in a haunted forest all alone.
Not fond of people
Never knew her parents, she was raised by a young woman in the woods who taught her how to use magic and make potions
Favorite color is dark purple
Likes foggy days and nights
Her magic gets stronger around the full moon
While she generally keeps to herself, she has been known to harass nearby villages when she's in a bad mood.
Would probably become a villain with the right motivation.
In fact, she has a very 'cartoon villain' energy to her.
Fairly arrogant and narcissistic.
Makes her own clothes as a hobby.
Her two Magic-Bonds are creatures known as 'Hauntings'. They are creatures that are known for playing tricks on humans. Some are harmless, others are malicious. The two that Berwyn has are pretty harmless when it comes to her, but she's not above sending them after people who make her angry.

I've decided I have too many nice characters, and I need a character that's a little more evil.
I'm not completely happy with her bio, so I'm sure I'll be adding on to it later.

Hi there! I like the colors. I enjoy the minimal amount of color use you did. The bio seems well put together and pretty okay. The only critique I have is the anatomy issues with the arms. A good way to help keep them looking fluid and equally set is firstly by using joint circles and straight lines in the skeleton of the drawing. That way you can get a good idea where everything may be placed. I hope this helps a bit and I hope you grow as an artist!

I can't take credit for the colors, since this was an adopt I bought. ^^ As for the anatomy problems, I appreciate the tip, but that is something I already do. xD Sometimes the arms just come out funny, 'cause I need more practice drawing them. :3

Hello. I have found your piece through Yokai-Spirit-OCs critique event.Β
The overall character design is quite memorable with the minimalistic color scheme. The happy and sad ghost in the background for me adds to the description that she may tend either to the good or bad side, depending on her environment.Β
For filling out character bios, I have noticed that I understand the character better when I get as detailed as possible as soon as possible as for example, you wrote: "not fond of people". Here I would like to know what specific kind of people she does not like, where this dislike comes to from and how this dislike shows. For example:
A character C does not like journalists, he does not because in his school time the newsletter there wrote a wrong accusation about him ( already makes a little story) and he shows it through never answering to a journalist if asked anything and being skeptical about anything is written in the newspaper.

While I can't take credit for the character design (it was an adopt I bought), I do see what you mean about the bio! Usually when I first put a character up, I don't have much planned for the character so I just put down a few traits I want them to have. However, I should work on putting more detail into the bio's whenever I get time/ideas, so I will make sure to work on doing that! Thanks for the tips, as well as the questions for how I could go about figuring more about her. :3
