I find it hilarious that I named my account after Xion and I rarely draw her. xDPlaying mostly with positioning and pre-made textures that come with Clip. ^^

They tackled everything so well, really. I love Days as a game, but I feel like the manga just made it more real.

It's strange how the Manga's better when the book came after the game XD I do like the game but it definitely feels a lot more real, they make the characters... You know, characters, there's a lot more about all the members rather then a few lines from them occasionally between missions. Demyx is second best girl.

Yep, exactly. The game tried it's best, and it did a great job, but there was so much more that could have been in there. Which the manga added. And it was beautiful. Demyx is amazing, tho. xD

Pretty much. I don't think I even fully understood that scene when I first read the comic and it confused the heck out of me. xD There were some funny scenes, but I feel like they made Sora a little too much of an idiot. Thankfully the Chain of Memories manga was better.

True. The first game was a great starting point, but it really wasn't until end game that had any deep story. As much as I hate playing through Sora's mode in Chain, it has a great story.

Agreed, Chain of Memories gameplay was the literal worst sometimes, but it definitely made up for it in the story. I remember reading the manga and specifically really liking how they made Marluxia's bark really match his bite, because in the games he talked about overthrowing and acted allΒ Β EEEVILLLΒ but he didn't do anything too bad, but they seriously amped up his antagonistic-ness and made him a better antagonist, his treatment of Namine in the Manga is a prime example of that.Β

Yeah, that was one of the things I really loved about the manga as well. Their portrayal of Larxene also made her more interesting. I certainly found the way they finally defeated her interesting, if nothing else.

Yeah, I never even finished chain completely, I finished Sora's campaign, saw that there was an option to play as Riku, immediately stood up, and chucked my controller at the TV, not even joking. The only Kingdom Hearts game that's had anywhere near that much annoyance to it was Dream Drop Distance. Friggin'. Dream Eaters.
Yeah, it was nice to have Larxene be more then just her usual spiteful self. All around the board it really improved the characters even more.

The Riku mode is actually really, really easy. It's like they realized half-way through the game that they were doing something wrong and tried to fix it.
I wonder if they are going to continue making the manga for the rest of the games. Is there one for BBS out yet?

Yea. It's still a little tedious, and the final battle is pretty tough, but it is a lot easier.
I didn't beat the original first game either until like, five years after we bought the game because the final boss was too hard for me and my sibs brains. xD

I got stuck on Tarzan's world, it was before skipable cutscenes and I can't tell you how many times I had to watch the cutscene of Tarzan talking like an Ape then Clayton coming in all 'OOH, LETS GO BEAST' and just neverending pain and fustration ;-;

;-; Yes, there is so much death. And then, if you manage to survive his death waves, he then goes into 'DANCE WATER DANCE' mode and you die simply because you can't kill 100 clones in a minute.

Speaking of Squeenix this morning I hopped on Union Cross and you're able to use stickers in the chat. You've got your sora's going 'my friends are my power', happy Ven's goin' 'Yay', and then they have a depressing picture of Xion with the word 'help' on it.
Someone at Squeenix made a message sticker with Xion on it saying 'help.'
