I find it hilarious that I named my account after Xion and I rarely draw her. xDPlaying mostly with positioning and pre-made textures that come with Clip. ^^

Probably, I mean then again they're way more sadistic than RoosterTeeth, I mean they killed off three characters and they honored their deaths and let us see more of them in RWBY Chibi at the very least if they weren't mentioned again (Roman and Neo cough cough) but there's literally only one person in their main cast that hasn't beenn put through massive amounts of trauma or is 'dead' and that's Kairi and she still was kidnapped and saw Sora kill himself in the first game so she barely qualifies.Β

That's true. Of course, Squeenix is trying to making KH a little more kid friendly, so of course things are going to be half as traumatizing as in RWBY.

No, I was talking about Squeenix, every single character they've made in Kingdom Hearts besides Kairi (barely) has been traumatized, 'lost', forgotten, or just flat out killed, not to mention the MASS GENOCIDE of all the THOUSANDS APON THOUSANDS keyblade wielders in Union Cross during the keyblade war that for the most part were kids along with all the foretellers, not to mention the flat our MURDER of Strelitzia (WHY CANT YOU LET THE CINNABUNS BE HAPPY SQUARE) and all the other crap that happens in that game. RWBY is VERYΒ tame in comparison.

Ohh, I guess I hadn't thought about that. I've only seen the movie version of Union that was in 2.8, and they kind of downplayed the whole 'thousands of people dying' thing. Just give RWBY a few seaons, tho. xD

Well, Ni No Kuni and Kingdom Hearts 2 were beatable, although I WAS on the easiest difficulty for both of them so I dunnoooo XD
Not really, I mean they almost made it worse by showing the audience how lovable Ava is and how the foretellers were like a family and once again Ava and Gula were clearly children which meant the master of mastersΒ purposefully put Ava and Gula through all this crap AS KIDS not to mention that shot of Luxu just standing there and watching THOUSANDS apon THOUSANDS of hearts being released as all the kids died there. *in a Nostalgia critic voice* A FAAAAAAAAAAMILY picture!
Well that just depends on how long they keep Adam alive, I mean the keyblade war was the wiping out of an entire planet-worth of people, the only way it could get close if if the Faunus were killed in a genocide but I don't think that'll happen. Adam miiight kill a lot of people though.

True. The KH games have always been easier, though, especially if you've played them all more than once. Final Fantasy games, on the other hand...
I guess I just didn't catch the underlying darkness...Obviously I need to pay a little more attention. I guess a lot of what went on in that movie sort of went over my head a little bit because I had never played Union, and so I wasn't quite sure what to expect from it.
The master of masters was hilarious to watch, though.
I hope they don't do a mass genocide of Faunus, but I doubt they will. I doubt that Adam's going to die any time soon, so he probably will kill a lot of people. And who know what Salem is going to do.

Well I made sure to pre-watch all of the game cuscenes. The game is VERY dark, it shows your character dying and holding their Chirithy in their arms as it laments about how it's going to die because you're dying while thousands of other's hearts float to the sky around you.
And ya know, the whole 'Maluxia/Laurium murders a small child to take their place' thing. Just a normal Tuesday for him.
He was indeed, he really reminded me of a mix of Xigbar and Deacon from Fallout 4.
They probably won't. I doΒ think that Adam is gonna die somewhat soon, they're climaxing his character and working on making him EVEN WORSE so it'll feel better when he burns in hell. Salem doesn't seem like the mass genocide type, at least not yet. Then again nobody has any clue what she wants so she could just be doing it all out of spite to Ozpin for all we know. (I doubt that's it)

For seriously. I think I've only actually ever finished one Final Fantasy game, and that took about three years or so.

o.O Yeah, I guess it does get pretty bad. I need to go watch all those cut-scenes now. I guess the games got more intense while I wasn't paying attention, but really what was I expecting from a game that is actually a fight between light and darkness? Even though I knew that the Keyblade War happened, it just never clicked that they were technically all CHILDREN when they died. That's just...wow.

Actually there were some equally depressing moments in the cutscene movie, like when Ava has to throw herself in front of Gula (her best friend) so Aced (a person who's like an older brother to her) doesn't club him to death whilst screaming 'PLEASE STOP!' and making terrified child noises. ;-; And yeah, wow. Granted Ava managed to save a handful of the kids by having them leave when it happened but that doesn't change the fact that Ava, her best friends, and all these kids died for.. Well, no real reason. They were there to fight but didn't really have any reason but a divide between the Unions, heck, in the game you have to DEFEND another kid who's being beaten to death by some other kids because they're from a different Union if memory serves. It's definitely one of the darkest of the Kingdom Hearts games. And it sucks even more because two of my favorite kingdom hearts characters come from this game ;-; Ava you poor fox child

Now, part of that may have been the fact that I was like, ten when I got my first Final Fantasy game, but still, you'd think that I'd have finished at least one other one by now.
Maybe that's why they didn't put it on PlayStation. And I honestly liked all the characters just from watching the movie, so it's very sad to think of all the fates that befell them.
I just want him to show up again so I can listen to his VA's awesome work.
We'll just have to see how it plays out.

True, that's also probably why I couldn't beat the first two Kingdom Hearts games since I was a smol child when I got said games.
Actually it's probably because the game was designed like as an online game. But yeah, that's probably also part of it.Β And also agreed, Ava and Strelitzia were my favorites from the game, but I honestly loved all of them, and it's even worse thinking about how even the ones that survived like Skuld and Emphemera, two goofy kids, have this huge responsibility of basically repopulating the worlds since they've been all but destroyed, then again there still weren't many Keyblade Weilders around in the main game so they didn't even get around to that, probably because, ya know, they're just a handful of kids and mid-teenagers that were young enough that they probably were still alive twenty years or so before Birth By Sleep.
Agreed, and we probably will see more of him because there's still the whole "WHATS IN THE BOX?!" conundrum to be solved.

Yes, yes it was. Somehow. Yeah, especially because they were kids and they needed to both rebuild the world (Which they couldn't doΒ in the first place because their home world was splintered into the hundreds of worlds) AND repopulate when there's only one or two teenagers anywhere near mature enough to do that which is probably why there weren't many of the survivors that, you know, survived through the generations because they couldn't succeed in either of those things...

Well, if nothing else, it adds a layer of complexity to the KH universe. It sort of makes you wonder what horrors they are going to introduce in the next games, though.

Agreed, and yes, it definetly makes us all scared for the future of the series.. And the thing is they aren't even done telling Union Cross's story, so for all we know they could kill both Ephemer and Skuld, the only two remaining 'good' characters from the Dandelions, but I have the feeling that at least one of them will survive long enough to die naturally.

I thought there were more Dandelions that survived? But wow. I wonder if either of them will show up in KH3, either as a vision, or something. They are important, but I wonder if whatever happened with them won't be addressed until after the Xenahort saga is finished.

Yeah... Serious nightmares from that one, especially the movie. There's a monster that has eyes on it's hands and not it's face so it has to put it's hands up to it's face to see right and it's so creepy.
I meant named Dandelions. There is of course Blaine and Larium (Marluxia) but Larium murdered Strelitzia to take her place as the new union leader and Blaine looks evil beyond all belief and I have no clue what Ava was thinking when she picked him. I hope they show up, I would love to see more of those dorks! And I don't know, it seems like they're still connected to Xehanort somehow. I mean, they have Marluxia's somebody and Ventus (Somehow) working with them so there's that.

Mhm, and it's HEAVILY implied that he killed Strelitzia to steal her 'credentials' if you will that made her a new Union leader. And yeah, probably should. I'm pretty sure Ventus is there because like Marluxia he's split into a nobody and somebody and eventually when he reforms he's the same age he was when he was split,Β IE the age he is in BBS.

Yep, they still are, the story's still building, I'm pretty sure it'll keep building until around when Kingdom Hearts III is released, there's still a lot left story-wise for them them to work with.

Although it's pretty hard to catch up as of now considering I'm 45 missions into storymode and it says it's only 4% complete XD Just watching the cutscenes will really take away a good chunk of that gameplay, there's even playlists specifically made with just the actual KH plot-relevant stuff that removes the extra worlds which then makes the cutscenes only a little over an hour long rather then the usual 30 or soΒ

I have no idea what those are (or at least I can't remember atm), but I assume they are the exact opposite of cute.
Isn't that most games, though? Its all fun until you either die horribly to a boss because you are under-level or until you need to grind to get the good gear. If you don't reach that point in a game at some point, you start to question whether or not the game is worth it.
And it's awesome!
