I've been dinking around with this picture, wondering if I should cut it or not because I was making it for a possibility for a print for AC, I have a dealers table this year. I like the other ones I've come up with so far but I'm not sure on this one. I know I'd still like to color it, but...hrmm...I'm going to fiddle with the head some more, right now it seems too small. Anyway, any ideas to make the picture more interesting? Is it alright? Probs? Should I cut it? yadda yadda, so one so forth.Thanx

I think you are right about the head being to small, though my first thought was that the arm and leg were too big.

I think it looks pretty damn cool man. Only a couple of suggestions, the knee on our left is sticking out too far. Knees dont stick out like that, the rest of your foreshortening is spot on. And the tree is making a tangent with his shoulder. I'd move it over to our right more, at least its base. Great pic overall. Cant wait to see it colored.

This is really just... wow. I love the pose, he really does look like he's about to kill. The way you did/positioned the muscles and the pose you put him in is great, perfect choice. I particularly like how massive you made his paws, it makes him look even more dangerous

This picture looks great! I think the only flaw is that really noticeable blank spot on the upper left corner of the paper. I think the composition would be more interesting if a few branches of that dead tree were to pass behind the spear and have some presence in that area to the left...
I personally think the wolf is a little too centered in the picture and maybe upon matting it, make the wolf appear to have been drawn a cm or two more to the right, but that's just me.
Other than those two things, I think the sketch looks awesome as is. I don't think the head is too small. Figures seem more imposing when they're a couple heads taller than the average human (sometimes.)

That's a good idea, maybe I'll shove him a bit more to the left so the spear head goes into more of the blank in the left corner, there's not much in the way if the bottom of the spear gets lost really I think. Yeah, I'll probably mess with the branches a bit more and extend them out or put something else in that area to fill it.

i don't know how you can do muzzles dead on, when i draw the mouth on either side like that, mine just look weird.
Yours turned out pretty good though.

All you need is a good reverence pic to start with, try it out looking at the ref picture so you can get an idea of how to do it and walla
