There are quite a few ways to remember how to calculate the value of a resistor from the stripe colors. I always preferred "Black Bears Raid Our Yellow Grain, Blue Violets Grow Wild" instead of other potty-mouthed things...

Great Designs, do you ever specialise in making particular chips/designs. Eg was looking for "Amiga" related ones. (maybe i should think of a commision design )

Thanks for the compliment! We generally don't use brand new circuit boards — we recycle circuit boards that are surplus, defective, etc., helping to keep electronics waste out of landfills (hence the "cycled" part of our name). We occasionally commission custom orders, but it depends on what it involves and how busy we are at the time. Feel free to email info@techcycled.com if you have a request (though we definitely won't be available until after the holidays).

These are great, but... aren't the resistors on the wrong side of the board? You're supposed to solder the ends of the leads to the copper squares.

You are correct, but these are designed for aesthetics and not functionality, and the side with the copper contacts is prettier than the other side.
