Unlike knuckles I don't chuckle. I'd rather flex my knuckles.I made a knuckles sprite in the Sonic mania style, and I guess in a sense in the sonic 2 Style as well in terms of body structure and appearance.
100% Custom Cause knuckles doesn't have annoying ass fingers I need to sprite.
Update: Edited the eyes, added another dread along the back of his head and altered the shape of his head slightly.

I mean, I knew that knuckles was playable the day the game was announced, I just did this because at the time, we didn't see the sprite for knuckles.

I found this while looking for Knuckles' official Sonic Mania sprite. Then I remember they haven't actually shown gameplay with him or Tails yet.
I'm hoping the official sprite has pointy shoes, since it seems like the dev is going for a Sonic 2 look instead of a Sonic 3 look.

This looks very much appealing and quite in style with the game. I especially love how spiky his hair looks. The only thing I would change is perhaps making his hands just a little bit bigger, and not giving his hands so much outlining. Great work, either way.

What colours did you use for the sprites? I'm trying to recreate the Sonic Mania sprite, but am not sure what colours I should use to perfectly recreate it.

Actually, the sonic sprite i got was from I believe. the only reason I have it up here was as a shading reference for the knuckles sprite.

It's a joke. There's a parody song where almost everything is literally replaced with knuckles, including sonics name. I think.
