A sense of calmness had settled over the Oregon Project, or at least it seemed like it to the short brunette. Wyatt, a good pet she had enjoyed toying with, hadn't returned for several days. She, of course, assumed the worst and wondered who could've ruined her fun. It had been so entertaining, watching the shorter proxy tear himself apart, breaking internally as he downed bottle after bottle of cheap booze.
She let out a bored sigh, laying back on the couch as she pondered what to do now. She could always go find someone else to play with, or perhaps scavenge for some more alcohol. She'd wasted most of it on Wyatt. That's when the idea struck her, she could branch out from Wyatt. Target close friends, giving them a little taste of what Wyatt had been put through for the months he lived with her. But who? Who was the right person to mess with? Who was Wyatt's good friend? Well, there was Zach but he'd kicked the bucket ages ago. What about that one kid, Daniel was it? David? Oh, Davey! Ah, yes, the blind proxy he would often hang out with and talk about. She smirked devilishly as she stood, stretching her long, freckled limbs before thinking back to what Wyatt had asked her days before his disappearance.
"I've realized that you could die, like legitimately die, any day. Like, tomorrow even, and I need your help. I need to do one thing before I die, it's kind of like one last wish I guess. I want to confess to Davey," He'd paused and pulled out a deck of cards. Some cards had their corners bent, others had different physical differences. Each card, depending on the type, had something to tell them apart. Kings had the bottom right corner bent while Queens had the bottom left bent, something Wyatt had taken hours to do so it'd be easier for Davey to use them. "I was thinking of giving him these, as a gift. So even if I'm rejected, he still gets something good out of it. Is that a good idea?"
She smirked, glad to have remembered such important information and quickly searched the house for the special deck. Upon finding it, she grabbed it and a small pocket knife and stuffed it into the pocket of her shorts. She then left her home, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

The walk was relatively short, surprising the brunette. She'd expected it to further from the home she shared with the shorter drunk. Once at the door, she dug the pocket knife from her pocket and cut her fingers in several places, crimson slowly dripping down her hand. She then grabbed the deck of cards she was gifting to the blind proxy and, taking her sweet and precious time, smeared her blood all over them. She began to breathe heavily, as if she'd ran here, and knocked on the door vigorously. It took a few moments before her knocks were answered, and the door was opened by a slightly shorter, blonde male.
"Davey?" She panted, false panic drowning her words. "You're Davey, right?"
"Uh, y-yeah?" He became more alert as he listened to her tone.
    "I-I'm a friend of Wyatt's."
"Wyatt?" He seemed to stand straighter at the mention of his friends name. With that tone of voice, something must've happened. "What's wrong?"
"He's dead!" She wailed out. She watched with amusement as Davey went rigid. He opened his mouth to speak but quickly closed it. She decided to continue. "He's dead, I-I just can't believe it. It doesn't seem real! One moment, he was just, we were on our way here to give you a gift and he just, I-I saw him die!"
Leaving Davey speechless, Scout grabbed his hand and placed the cards, wet with blood, into it. She gave out a choked sob before continuing her little lie.
"He wanted to give these to you, he had gotten them for you. He even," Another sob. "He made it easier for you to use them!"
Davey clutched the cards tightly, his knuckles turning white and shaking. He tried to ignore the sticky substance smeared on some of them. While he shook, she continued with her sobbing and avoided telling him how to tell the cards apart.
"He wanted to say he loved you, he told me while he was just, laying there." She pretended to take a moment to calm herself before continuing, suppressing her laughter. "He told me, 'Scout, grab the cards. Tell him I love him.' I grabbed those cards from his bloody hand. Worst of all, it's your fault he's dead. I mean, he left the safety of his own home to come all this way to give you some gift! Did you even need it? No, you didn't. What a great friend you were, getting him killed over a damn gift."
With that said, she left the blonde Hawaiian in silence. She couldn't keep in her laughter for long, doubling over a couple feet away from his home. The reaction on his face, the way he was shaking after she dropped the news, it was all priceless! With her boredom cured for now, she went on to scavenge for some alcohol and bandages. Her fingers had begun to bother her.

Scout, as one of Davey's still living friend would say, "You're a bitch."

I probably just haven't given her successor enough exposure yet, because Tali is actually cooler than Eris imo.

Scout's a whole different level of mean. She likes inflicting emotional trauma.
