It was suppose to be a simple trip. Scavenge, steal, and return home with medical items to restock their depleted storage. After two fatally injured proxies had come in, they'd wasted all of the medicine owned by their 'doctor' in a desperate attempt to save themselves. Reid had understood, though. After all, pain and desperation made people to such strange things. Yet, on his scavenge to find his wasted things he'd ran across something he didn't quite expect.
A small body lain across the ground, wearing nothing but soaked boxer briefs. There wasn't one bit of skin exposed that hadn't been covered up by crimson. Analyzing the body, which Reid had assumed was a corpse, he'd noticed the smallest of movements every few seconds. He was now focused on seeing if the boy was alive. He crouched next to the body and placed his index and middle finger against the boy's neck. He had waited for what seemed like five minutes before he had felt it. A pulse, as weak and thready as it was.
    What now?
Judging by the temperature of the past few days and the state of body, Reid could only assume that the boy had severe hypothermia. If he wanted to help, he needed to do something now. Now, Reid wasn't exactly strong but this proxy wasn't exactly heavy. Reid, picking the boy up, found some difficulty in supporting the extra weight.
"Don't worry," He whispered to the non-responsive proxy. "You'll be back on your feet in a few weeks."

The trip was exhausting. Reid hadn't realized how far out he'd traveled before stumbling upon the boy and he hadn't realized how hard it'd be to carry what he had thought of as dead weight at the time back to his home. He had to stop several times on the way back to put the boy down, calm down, then proceed in the trip. Relieved when they arrived home, they were greeted by James who was resting on an old stool near the table Reid used as a cot for his 'patients'. The table was small and the wood was splintering. It was covered with a yellowing cloth with stains of dried blood.
"Get all the blankets we have," He ordered. "And some of Finnian's clothes." He looked at the boy unconscious on their table and thought he a Finnian were around the same size. James hopped off the stool and rushed to the back of their home, where the rooms were. He grabbed three blankets, one full of varying sized holes. He then sorted through some of his roommates clothing, finding a purple and black shirt with the words "KISS ME" in bold black letters. Grabbing that and a pair of sweatpants, he rushed back to where Reid had the boy. Reid quickly got to work, remembering how to treat this type of thing from when he had researched it for a paper. He'd switched the boy's soaked clothing for the dry set to, hopefully, increase his body temperature. Reid then added blankets to the mix.
"Aren't you suppose to do CPR in this kinda situation?" James asked. Reid paused for a moment before nodding. It must've slipped his mind while he was warming the boy. "Will it not make a difference?"
    "Hm?"
"Is he going to die?" Reid sighed before looking at the pale boy.
"I don't know, but there's nothing else we can do for 'em." James refused to look Reid in the eyes, only staring at the body on their table. "At least we found him, a little longer out there we wouldn't even be able to help him."
"James knew him." His voice was quiet. "Finn introduced us. Wyatt was nice, James liked him lots."
