I want to apologize for the quality of my most resent peaces... I'm currently fighting my art-block with all my "might" and refuse to let it keep me chained for another month >A> (that's how long my blocks usually last T^T) I hope it'll gradually get better QwQ

Some story time!!! From Hawk's P.O.V.

My name is Hawk, proud owner and trainer of many stryx dragons. After such long time near the claws and beaks of such beasts I can say, that there aren't many things in this world I fear.

On this fateful day I had to cross the great plains by foot, since the rider of my birds was away on a task and I'm not strong enough to handle a beast by myself. Many tried to stop me, telling me the plains are dangerous, full of many wild beasts. And indeed I was viciously attacked by two deadly adorable critters!!! They bit and clawed their way into my heart with swiftness and power I've never witnessed before...

I was so overwhelmed with the desire to take them with me, I almost forgot their mother might be near. Joke aside, the moment I reached the next hill I saw their mom rushing towards the two little babies from the opposite direction. What a marvelous beast she was! I how dead I would've been if I was late by even a minute...

In town I asked about the strange little animals and learned they were called kukuri. Many tribes and people used tamed kukuri for all kinds of jobs - riding, pulling carriages, hunt, protection or just as pets. One fellow even brought me to the kukuri market, full of those gorgeous beasts - full of colors, different sizes, horns, etc. Still none caught my heart as the two wild raptors.

A week after the encounter I still couldn't get the little creatures out of my mind. So I started going to the plains alone to visit them, bringing them all sorts of treats, slowly befriending them. They stopped biting my clothes and soon let me pet them.
After they left their mother's side I took the opportunity and took them to my stables.

The azure one I named Glacier - after the beautiful blue ice that slides down the mountains. Alas, the name seems to have cast a jinx on the small kukuri male and he soon became mysophobic, after he accidentally fell in a pile of styx sh*t. xDD

The beautiful female was named by Ian, the rider that works for me. Her name is Rona, he said it was a popular name from his country and it brings luck to the one bearing it. Lightning seemed a better name to me, since the little beast is really fast. In fact one time she stole a sandwich off my hands and I didn't even see her coming!
