Description

We are those who have come before
We, who are keepers of light,
Know the true scintillation of night
We gather her glittering gifts
Silently, silently
Singing to ourselves…

We are those who have come before
And those who come after
Shall be ever more wise,
For we weave into our webs
The jewels of the evening sky
And knowledge Aeonic across the ages,
Even as the battle of Balance rages.

Sing now, sing again
For the Day of Equilibrium is only a matter of when
And then, still we shall safely weave and wonder in shadow.

- "Blessing of the Weave," Xiloqui Chant
Recorded and translated into Common by Cleric “Kith” Rossi of the High Temple of the Eight, Capital City of Vistireen

Footnotes:

This record is for archival/research purposes only within the Way of Eight or the Aeonic Arcanum, and should not be discussed amongst the general Eri populace.

Regarding the Peoples of the Root, this chant may be freely shared amongst other Xiloqui, White Huatha, Urgar, Seryth, Kuotha, and most other benevolent practitioners of the Aeonic Ways. It is categorized as an earth-centric blessing of hearth and home. Exemplifying Xiloqui values of continuity through adversity and preservation of knowledge, it makes a wonderful fireside song - often the sharing of stories and lore is expected of Eri travellers in exchange for hospitality and lodging. Always follow proper etiquette and protocol when approaching other cultures. For a complete analysis of sociocultural attitudes of Peoples of the Root toward Eri, including maps and instructions on travel, see the folio “Words and Ways: A Primer on the Peoples of the Root” by Cleric Rossi.

An Apophysis and Chaotica fractal resultant of piethein21 's Double Bubble Tutorial. "Legacy of the Weavers" is my first successful Double Bubble! Thank you piet for making this awesome tutorial! The woven look in this fractal (and overall look) was an unexpected result achieved by rotating transforms 3 and 4, careful use of Mobius on the 5th transform and rotating said transform, and a camera transform of either Mobius or Curl.

Here's the tutorial:

Very Beautiful. I like the poem too. I am doing chemistry homework right now, so the equilibrium is relevant to my case especially. It is nice to take s step back from calculations to see something beautiful.
