Description The Anchor

While waiting for the others, the heroes of Arendelle, and Lilo, sat impatiently with the others while waiting for those who left to return.

Kristoff, Anna and Lilo sat at the table in the room while Elsa was constantly pacing back and forth for long stretches. Minnie and Daisy stood near the chalk drawing everyone had disappeared through while the Blue Fairy herself stood at the window. Sven, Spring and Olaf were all sitting together as the sprite managed to make the snowman’s carrot nose sprout flowers at the tip only to be eat by the reindeer.

At one point Elsa walked up to the Blue Fairy and said “Maybe if we just-”

“No.” she said, cutting her off before she could finish.

The Snow Queen walked off before Anna came up next and said “You know we could-”

"No."

She pouted and walked off before Kristoff was next to say “Yeah, but if we just-”

She finally turned to look him, and anyone else trying to ask, right in the eyes as she stated “No.”

With that all of the restless heroes backed off and simply sat and waited. Obviously the word from the Blue Fairy, a power Alpha Being like herself, was final. After seeing this the trio of Olaf, Sven and Spring all looked to each other and shrugged at this, obviously showing how content they were for waiting.

Just then all heard the sound of what seemed like wind picking up. They all looked to see the chalk drawing made by Mary Poppins start to dissolve before the dust began to swirl into a large cyclone. As it grew everyone stood back at the risk of being sucked in. Oddly though the wind it made was blowing away from it not towards, obvious magic at work.

When it finally settled everyone looked to see the group of heroes standing there. It was a relief to see them, though they could also see Eugene, Maximus and Pascal added to the group. Minnie was the first to see both the look of defeat on some of their faces and the sudden realization of who was missing.

“What happened?” she asked, looking to Mickey for answers. “Where’s Rapunzel?”

Mickey gave a low, defeated tone of “We….were too late. He has her.”

“And they took Max too.” Goofy added with a worried tone. “We have to find them. Now!”

Hearing this Elsa spoke up and said “I knew we should’ve come with you. We could’ve helped stop this.”

“And risk being swept off yourself?” Scrooge pointed out. “No. Mary Poppins was right to have you stay behind. We thought we were ready and we weren’t.”

Someone suddenly cleared their throat, everyone seeing it was Eugene, before saying “Uh, hi. I know I’m only just the new guy and all, but don’t you think we should stop wasting time and actually go to wherever the bad guys are hiding?” Pascal and Maximus nodding in agreement.

“Don’t you think if we knew we’d already be there?” Merida pointed out. She suddenly turned to Mary Poppins and said “And what about you Miss ‘Practically perfect’? Why didn’t you help out?”

“As I’ve stated before, Merida, I do not become involved in battles.” She simply stated.

“But you’re fine with helping us in this war?” Kristoff pointed out. “So you’re a nanny and a hypocrite.”

Yen Sid suddenly retorted with “Watch that tone, young man. Especially towards Mary Poppins. Now none of this useless bickering will bring us any closer to finding the Master of Worlds.”

“Well if you’re so wise and powerful, why don’t you think of something?” Eugene blurted out.

“Hey, don’t talk Master Yen Sid like that!” Donald blurted out.

It wasn’t long before everything erupted in a large argument among the heroes. Only Mary Poppins, the Blue Fairy, Olaf, Spring, Sven, Maximus, Pascal Lilo and Stitch didn’t say anything. Instead they all stood and watched with mixed looks of worry or annoyance.

Olaf even commented with “Is this was people do in this world when they like each other?”

Finally fed up with all of it Mary Poppins stepped forward from the group of those not arguing. The Blue Fairy held her breath to see what she would do while the others watched with confusion as she raised her hand, her finger ready to snap.

The snap of her fingers was loud and echoed a little, enough to make everyone go silent. However it wasn’t just the snap that made them quiet. All those who’d been arguing, even Master Yen Sid, found their lips sealed shut. They tried speaking only for the words to be muffled by their closed mouths. Eugene tried to pull his open but found them tightly held together as if with glue.

“Now that I have your attention, let me settle this senseless prattling.” Mary Poppins stated, making everyone look to her. “First of all, none of us standing here are to blame. This is all the fault of the Master, nothing more. Second, just because we have failed to save the princess does not mean we can simply give up and not save everyone else. Third, and finally, if every there is any discontent with my actions simply say so in a humble fashion. Any raised voices and I shall be forced to do more than seal your lips.” Some of the heroes looked to each other, worried about what else she could do, before she asked “Do we have an understanding?” The heroes she silenced nodded quickly before she looked to the others just to make sure, seeing them nod as well. “Very well.”

She snapped her fingers and everyone felt their lips freed from whatever spell had closed them. Some of them moved their jaws after feeling the side effects before having a little more respective, if a bit fearful, attitude towards the supernatural nanny.

“Okay….now that that’s out of the way, what do we do?” Eugene asked. “I mean you guys have been dealing with this Master guy. You’ve got to have some idea about where he is.”

Yen Sid answered with “I’m afraid, Master Eugene, we haven’t the faintest idea. As it has been explained to you, there are a great number of worlds out there for the Master and his compatriots to hide. We could spend the rest of our lives searching and likely never find him.”

“But we can’t stop looking.” Donald spoke up. “He’s going to use the spell and make himself an Alpha Being. We’ve got to stop him!”

Goofy added “And save Maxie. And the others!”

“Then I suggest we think, where would someone like the Master hide?” the Blue Fairy suggested.

“Yeah, she’s right.” Olaf said with optimism. “C’mon, guys! With enough brain power we can figure this out.”

********************

A full fifteen minutes had gone by and Olaf, still standing in the same spot with his optimistic smile, said “Any second now.”

The heroes were more or less silent but now spread out among each other in the rooms into smaller groups. King Mickey say with most of the others of his world, Daisy and Donald being the ones to try and reassure Goofy that Max was fine. Eugene and Kristoff stood together, leaning against a nearby fire place, while Anna and Elsa sat down at the table next to each other. Maximus, Sven and Stitch were in a group and seemed to be talking among each other in odd animal language, some thinking it was a surprise they could all understand each other. The three power Alpha Beings of Mary Poppins, Yen Sid and the Blue Fairy stood near the corner of the room in a low voiced discussion. Lilo and Merida were sitting by one of the windows looking out to the kingdom while Spring, being the curious sprite that she was, flew among the different groups as if waiting to see if any of them had thought of something.

Anna looked over to where Mary Poppins and the others were before tapping her sister’s shoulder and asking “What do you think they’re talking about?”

Elsa looked over before saying “Not sure.”

“Don’t you think you should join them?” her sister suggested. “I mean, technically, you are like them.”

Elsa sighed before saying “No I’m not. I get the feeling they’re a lot stronger than me. And they know what they’re doing.” She looked down at her hands and continued “But me? She was right you know? Mary Poppins. I do sometimes still worry about my powers. I mean….you remember what happened when….well when you froze and…”

Anna took her hands and said “Hey, hey! Don’t worry about any of that. You know I forgave you a long time ago. And if you start that whole ‘I couldn’t forgive myself’ thing, I’m going to have the nanny glue your lips shut again. And I mean it.” Elsa laughed a little at her sister’s words before Anna said “You have these powers for a reason, remember? If for nothing else, stop worrying about getting it wrong and starting thinking about getting it right. I know you can.”

Elsa was quiet when her sister gave her argument before finally smiling and saying “Mary Poppins did say you always see the good in people.”

“Hey. It’s not as easy as you’d think.” She retorted with a witty tone.

Both of them laughed at this before Elsa looked away. Anna didn’t see the still unsure look in her sister’s eyes as she started to wonder what it would be like if she didn’t have her powers.

Both Eugene and Kristoff had looked over when the two were laughing before the former asked “So those girls are from your world, right?” Kristoff confirmed this before he asked “So which one? The spunky redhead or the snowy one?”

“Spunky redhead.” Kristoff answered.

Eugene nodded and said “Not bad.”

“Hey!” he said, sounding offended.

Eugene waved it off and said “I mean she’s pretty and all. But if you saw Rapunzel….well I’m not going to get into that right now.”

“Oh. Is she ugly?” Kristoff asked, obviously being coy about it.

“No! And for another thing, my girl has powers.”

“Really?”

“Yeah. She can do this thing with her hair and…..oh wait. No. She lost that when we cut it off.” He suddenly added “But it did just grow back. So that’s something.”

“Magic hair? Really? Anna’s sister can create ice and snow. How can you beat that?”

“Yeah. That’s her sister. Not Anna. At least Rapunzel has powers. And I went through a lot to save her.”

“Oh really?” Kristoff asked with an unconvinced tone.

“I had to escape from bandits.” Eugene stated.

“Bandits? Come on. I had to fight off wolves and killer snow men.”

“I almost died in a flood!”

“I had to save my kingdom from being stuck in eternal winter!”

“A crazy witch!”

“A selfish prince!”

“I was stab! Right through the chest!”

When both finally stopped they looked at each other as if ready to get into a fistfight. Suddenly both broken into laughter so much that when they were finished they needed a moment to recover.

“You know, Kristoff, you’re alright.” Eugene said, putting his hand on his shoulder.

“Yeah, you too.” He said before huffing a little and saying “Sheesh. And all of those things over girls?”

“Princesses to be precise. But yeah, girls.” Eugene said before both chuckled a little. His tone suddenly changed to a sadder one when he said “They can drive you crazy and get you into trouble…but you’d do anything for them.”

Sensing this had to do with Rapunzel’s capture, Kristoff patted Eugene’s shoulder and said “Hey, we’ll get her back. And when we do, we can both give the Master a piece of our minds.”

“You do that if you want. I’m going to hit him hard enough so he won’t have any teeth.”

With that little joke, showing that Eugene was still optimistic, the two princes shared a little more laughter between each other.

Meanwhile Merida and Lilo had overheard the two men laughing, Merida commenting “Well at least they’re having a good time.”

Lilo shrugged a little before asking “So what was it like in that other world?”

Merida shrugged and answered “It was…okay. I mean all I saw was fields and forests. And a castle but then I’m used to seeing those.”

“Yeah, they’re neat. But you should see the places in my world. Some places have buildings so tall you can’t even see the tops of them.”

Merida perked up and asked “Really?”

Lilo nodded before continuing with “And where I live, on this little island, we’ve got beaches and volcanoes and ice cream and a whole bunch of other great stuff. Just the other day I went to see Zombie Dragon-Monkey’s III. It was amazing!”

Merida lughed a little at Lilo’s enthusiasm before saying “Hopefully when this is over, I’ll have to visit your world. And maybe you can come to mine. I can teach you how to shoot an arrow and hunt bears and all that.” Both shared a laugh before Merida gave a worried “I hope we win…”

“We will.” Lilo said. “Just you watch. When we finally find the Master of Worlds I’ll be ready to give him a good kick in the…”

Merida calmed her and said “Hang on. You can’t be there when we find him.” When Lilo asked why not she said “Do you know how dangerous it is?”

“So?” she asked, sounding a bit indifferent. “I may be little but I’m not afraid. It’s just like Mary Poppins said. I’m brave and stubborn. Like you.”

Merida was actually surprised by that. She found it a little funny to admit, but it was true. Lilo was a lot like her, especially before she’d been through her amazing experience that cursed her mother to become a bear. But even then Merida knew there was a time and place for being brave and for being smart.

Merida held Lilo by the shoulders and said “Lilo, it’s good to be stubborn sometimes. And it’s even better to be brave. But sometimes you have to realize when something’s too big for you. I know you want to help, but that doesn’t mean you should just go charging into trouble. I thought like that once and my mum turned into a bear!” Lilo looked a little unconvinced before the princess continued with “Just think of it like this: sometimes you fight, and sometimes you don’t. But when the fighting’s done, you start to appreciate not being there. ‘Cause fighting’s not always the right answer.”

Lilo looked as if she was going to argue but instead sighed and said “I know.”

“You do?”

“I do.” She answered.

Merida nodded and said “Alright then. In the meantime….how about I teach you how to ride a horse?”

Lilo perked up with a smile before suddenly hugging Merida, the princess laughing a little and saying “I’m starting to think I should trade you for my three brothers.”

“They can have my sister if that’s the case.” Lilo giggled.

As the two laughed at this, neither of them realized Mary Poppins had been listening. However when they finished the nanny merely smiled before turning back to speak with the other Alpha Beings.

After all of these events passed Olaf, still standing where he was, saw as Spring flew over towards him. She looked at him oddly, as he just stood there with a still goofy but happy smile on his face, and wondered if he was alright. Just then Pascal crawled up onto Olaf’s shoulder and poked at his head, he looking to Spring and shrugging as if Olaf wasn’t paying enough attention.

Suddenly the snowman blurted out “Okay! So maybe it’s not easy. You two don’t have to get so personal about it.” The two looked to each other confused, since they didn’t say anything, before Olaf sighed and said “Maybe there’s no point. I mean it’s not like we can just magically poof to where he’s hiding, can we?”

Upon hearing that Scrooge gasped and said “That’s it! Olaf, my snowy boy, you’re a genius!”

The snowman smiled and said “Hey thanks. Even though I have no idea what I just said that made you happy. But hey at least it worked.”

Mickey, confused as most of the others, asked “What are you talking about, Scrooge?”

“Don’t you see, your majesty?” he asked. “We can use the transportation spell. Remember the one me and Donald worked on earlier?”

Donald perked up when he remembered and said “Oh yeah! Good thinking Uncle Scrooge. We can use it and poof to wherever the Master is.”

“Hang on.” Mickey said. “Last time you tried that, you both nearly blew Yen Sid’s study up.”

When Master Yen Sid looked a little annoyed at the two duck wizards, Scrooge gave an awkward chuckle before explaining “That may have been the case before. But now we have something we didn’t have last time: an anchor.”

“An anchor?” Kristoff asked before looking around confused. “Who here brought a boat?”

“Not that kind of anchor, you snow-brained ninny. I’m talking about a magic anchor. Something that we can use to get us from here to where the Master is.”

“Well what is it then?” Goofy asked.

Scrooge turned and said “Max, of course.” There was a collective ‘what’ from a few of the heroes before Scrooge explained “The Master has Max, which means he’s wherever he and the rest of them are hiding. We use the teleportation spell and wind up right on their doorstep!”

“Brilliant planning, Mr. Scrooge.” Mary Poppins said, everyone agreeing or nodding to show it.
“Hold up.” Eugene asked. “How do we know this’ll work? If you nearly blew up last time, what’s to stop that happening again?”

While Scrooge didn’t have an answer for it, Yen Sid spoke up and said “Leave that to myself and the Blue Fairy.” After which he said “Prepare the spell, Master Scrooge. But please hurry. There’s no knowing how much time we have until the Master is finished.”

Scrooge gave a quick salute before running off, Donald following after him, and then Mickey looked to most of the other heroes and said “I guess we know what we’re in for. Only this time, we’re going to have a few surprises ready for Pete and the others.”

“Define ‘surprises’?” Anna asked.

Mickey smiled and said “This time we ALL step in to help.”

Hearing that, Elsa, Anna and Kristoff were a little more enthusiastic to know they would be helping with the stopping the Master this time. Even Sven, Spring and Olaf were a little more open to the idea. However the obvious ones who were staying, that being Minnie, Daisy and Lilo, showed they were a little less than thrilled to know they had to wait behind.

As Mickey indicated for those going to get ready Mary Poppins walked over and said “Princess Merida, if I could have a moment with you in private?”

She looked a little odd about this, looking to Lilo who was nearby just to make sure she heard it too, before agreeing. They walked off away from the others into a smaller room through one of the doorways leading out of the room all the heroes were gathered. Lilo and Stitch, who came over in time, watched as the two disappeared while wondering what could be so secret Mary Poppins had to talk with her about.

Once they came into the smaller room Merida looked around to see there wasn’t much to it. There was only a small table and chair near a window while a picture of Mickey, or someone related to him, hung on the wall. At the very least Merida could see why Mary Poppins wanted to speak with her here, given how quaint it was.

“What’s the matter?” Merida asked as Mary Poppins but her carpet bag on the table.

As Mary Poppins fumbled through the bag she said “I do apologize for this, your highness, but this is a drastic situation we are about to enter.”

As she watched her pull out a bottle of something Merida asked “Well I know. We’re about to up against some mad man with magic. How could it not be…?”

“I’m afraid it’s far direr then that.” She said, cutting the princess off. After pulling out a spoon she turned back and explained “I have been calculating the accumulated power that the Master of Worlds will obtain should he succeed. If he does, and heavens above forbid it should come to it, there is a possibility the power he will wield could have drastic changes on us.”

“What do you mean?” she asked. “Like…turning us evil?”

“I’m afraid I cannot answer that for certain. I can only say this, after this day things will likely change. For better or worse, that is something I cannot tell. But if it should be worse….then everything will depend on you.”

Merida looked a little surprised and asked “Me? Why me?”

“Why indeed?” Mary Poppins said before turning back to what she’d taken out on the table. She suddenly held out a spoon full of medicine and said “Now open wide.”

The princess looked oddly at it, even sniffing it and being a little repulsed, before asking “What is that stuff?”

“Forget-me-not Juice.” She explained. “Now hurry up and take it.”

Reluctantly Merida sipped everything up before commenting “Hmmm. Tastes like blue berries.”

After that Mary Poppins packed everything away and said “Now one more thing. If things take a turn for the worse as I fear, then there’s one simple instruction I want you to remember: find me.”

Merida looked confused again and asked “Find you? Where are you going?”

“I think you will understand should the time come.” Mary Poppins answered before saying “Now hurry up. We’ve a villain to stop and a number of Alpha Beings to save. Spit-spot.”

Merida, obviously still confused, wondered what Mary Poppins was referring to. She watched as she walked out while remembering her instruction to find her, whatever that meant. Still, with not much else to go on for clues, she shrugged before hurrying off to ready for the fight to come.

*********************

Within fifteen minutes all the heroes assembled for the final assault were gathered in one large group.

The obvious heroes like Mickey, Goofy, Scrooge and even Merida, had their signature weapons at the ready. The ones who needed no weapons, including Elsa, Stitch and Yen Sid, stood ready and waiting. The ones given weapons were Eugene and Kristoff, one having a sword while the other had a pickaxe. The only ones who did not carry weapons were Mary Poppins, still saying how practically perfect people do not fight, Spring, Olaf, Pascal, Maximus and Sven. And finally those who agreed to wait were given their best wishes and the like to their loved ones.

Mickey and Minnie shared a few last remarks, the usual case of her wishing him luck and he telling her not to worry. Daisy gave a more concerned scolding to both Donald and Scrooge, warning if they didn’t come back she’d be furious with them. Stitch and Lilo shared a final hug before the little Hawaiian girl looked to Merida next.

“You’ll come back right?” she asked. “And we’ll do all those things we talk about?”

Merida, hearing the concern in Lilo’s tone, nodded and said “I will, Lilo. Don’t worry.”

She then held up her hand and pointed her pinky out, asking “Pinky swear it?”

Merida, not understanding the gesture, smiled a little before she held her pinky out, wrapped it around Lilo’s and said “Yeah. I swear on my pinky. And the rest of my hand too.”

Lilo smiled a little before Stitch added “Me watch out for her. Merida ohana.”

Hearing that she said “Thanks….even though I don’t know what an ohana is.”

After enough talking Elsa asked “So how does this transporting spell work?”

Scrooge answered with “First we stand together.” He waited until they all were. “Then I just need to draw up the incarnation circle.” He handed a piece of chalk to Donald, saying “Help me out, boy.” Before taking a piece for himself as both started to draw around the group.

Eugene spoke up and suggested “I guess while we’re waiting, we should come up with some kind of strategy?”

“We already have one.” Mickey said. “Same one as we once used before against the Horned King. We’ll split up. Half of us will draw out Pete and the others, hopefully the Master too. The rest will sneak in and free Max and the others and stop whatever spell he’s preparing.”

“And what happens if we don’t stop him in time?” Anna asked.

Yen Sid answered with “Then we will need to think on a new strategy.”

Hearing that everyone had a worried look on their face. If the Master intended to make himself the strongest Alpha being in existence then they would have a great problem on their hands, one they feared if they would be able to survive altogether.

Finally Scrooge and Donald finished, the latter saying “Alright. All set. Now what?”

“Now we need to focus as I say the spell.” Scrooge explained. “We focus on our anchor, Max. At least those of us how know him well enough. Just keep him in your mind, understood?”

“That shouldn’t be too hard.” Goofy said. “Especially for me.”

Scrooge then looked to the others and said “The rest of you just try to keep your minds calm. This spell is half based on willpower. Anything out of whack and we could wind up five worlds away from where we’re supposed to be.”

As they all nodded Yen Sid said “Now there is only one final piece we need.” He then turned and asked “My dear Blue Fairy, if you will?”

Everyone else looked and realized how the Blue Fairy wasn’t actually standing with the group. They seemed a bit confused as she instead nodded to Master Yen Sid before handing over her own magic wand.

“Wait….you’re not coming?” Elsa asked the Blue Fairy.

“I’m afraid the willpower is not the only thing that will effect this spell, my friends.” She began to explain. “The worlds are still out of balance, and some of you already know the effect that will have on travels to other worlds. However my wand has the power needed to help you reach wherever you may go. But in doing so it will be useless for some time until he can recharge….and so will I.”

After she said this Merida pointed out “So you’re saying it’s your source of power. The thing that makes YOU an Alpha Being.”

After the Blue Fairy confirmed this Yen Sid added “Now you’ll understand how important it is that we keep it safe once we arrive.” He looked to the Blue Fairy and added “And I shall not fail you in doing so, my lady.”

She merely nodded and said “I know you will, Yen Sid.” Hearing that some of the heroes looked between both of them, wondering if there wasn’t something more ‘intimate’ going on between them, before she finished with “And I wish all of you a safe return and a swift victory.”

With that vote of confidence Mary Poppins spoke up and said “Alright, everybody, now is the time. As per Mr. Scrooge’s orders, focus and concentrate. Altogether.”

All the heroes, both those going and those not, exchanged little nods to each other. Most were signs of trust while others were signs of confidence in their victory. With that everyone closed their eyes and focused, trying to stay calm or think of Max and wherever he may be.

With everyone ready Scrooge chanted the words “Ubi nos eamus recessit. Et ad novum locum, ultra hoc. Per sidera mundo magna et parva, et, inducet nos in omnibus.”

As Scrooge spoke the words flashes of blue light began to spark and surge from the circle the heroes all stood in; the others backing away when they saw this. Scrooge continued while the heroes still focused and kept their heads clear. More and more the magic built and built, those who worried taking deep breaths as to stay calm.

In the final moments before the spell finally activated Goofy had whispered “Hang on, Max. Your dad’s on his way.”

And finally, in a glorious flash of blue, all the heroes vanished and those left in Castle Disney had prayed that they would all return safe.

*********************

When their visions cleared all the heroes looked and realized the spell had worked, they were now at the secret base of the Master of Worlds.

And after looking around one would think an evil master of ark magic would hide in a place like this. They found they were standing at the gates of an old mansion, a large and dark painted one with very few lights inside. It was night and it was cold as well, adding to the eerie atmosphere of the place. From the gate there was a small path leading up to the mansion’s front door. However what was the scariest part about this place was that it was surrounded by a forest of headstones and grave markers, everyone realizing it was a graveyard.

After seeing this Donald nervously asked “Is it too late to go back yet?”

“Hang on.” Mickey said, looking closer. “I know this place. This….this is in our world!”

“What?” Eugene asked. “You mean the spell didn’t work?”

“No. It did indeed work.” Yen Sid answered with an angered tone. “The Master, however, has apparently been hiding right under our noses this entire time.”

Realizing this some of the heroes now had more resentment for the Master’s tricks, Olaf however saying “Wow. You got to admit that’s pretty smart. I mean it’s the last placed you’d look and…”
Elsa indicated for him to stop which he did, still giving one last comment of “Your right. I should complement him after we’ve stopped him.”

Merida was the one to ask “What is this place anyway?”

Mickey first answered with “This used to belong to some old lord of our world who practiced with dark magic. He got a little too carless and well….it didn’t end well.”

Yen Sid then added “His tampering had caused a large portion of raw dark magic from our world to focus in this place. It became too dangerous for any to stay in.” When Anna asked why he said “The magic was able to summon up the spirits of the dead, trapping them here and denying them eternal rest. That is why all who know it have called this place…the Haunted Mansion.”

********************

The Master of Worlds was still preparing his grand spell inside the Haunted Mansion when Pete came running in.

He’d passed Max who was tied and gagged on a chair a few feet away from where the Master was working. Seeing Pete’s expression Max had perked up and listened close to hear what was being said between the two.

“Boss! Boss!” Pete shouted as he ran in. He stopped once he’d reached him and said “The goodies are here! And they look ready for a fight!”

The Master still worked and did not turn as he simply said “Then go out and stop them.”

“But there’s more of them! They brought the Snow Queen and a bunch of others. We’re way too outnumbered!”

He turned to look at his subordinate, his eyes glowing with annoyance, before saying “You forget, I am the master of this place. You will have the numbers you need. Now go! And do not interrupt me again!” Pete quickly rushed out to inform his family of the coming fight while Max watched him run off before looking back to the Master. He turned back to the boy knight and smiled as he said “Enjoy the show, young warrior.”

With that he raised his hands and began to chant a spell. Max couldn’t make out what he was saying, mainly because it seemed to be a bunch of different languages rolled into one, but he could see as red sparks of energy began zip from one of the Alpha Beings or objects to another.

As it continued to grow, the spell growing stronger, Max prayed that his father and friends would reach him in time. Otherwise this fight would already be lost.

The Haunted Mansion ! I really like the Haunted Mansion, though the version I personally know and use would never be the hideout of a dark evil villain — the Haunted Mansion I imagine is a cheerful place where the ghosts are enjoying themselves, having parties, singing "Grim Grinning Ghosts" and stuff.

So like Melanie or Madam Leota? Kinda bummed Lilo can't assist, especially without the experiments, but at least we'll get to see Elsa in action!

Yeah it is a shame there wasn't much to do for her here. However part of her presence was to befriend Merida, which will come up in the future.

The Haunted Mansion, I should've known. Things are starting to get interesting

So, you don't have that connection between Frozen and Tangled?
Aw, no frying pan for Eugene? I'm sure that he could be able to swipe one from Clarabelle's kitchen.
Wait, if people can summon spirits of the dead in the Haunted Mansion does that mean that we'll be seeing some dead villains like the Evil Queen, Horned King, Ursula, and Scar?

I the connection you mean is the little cameo in Frozen when Rapunzel and Eugene show up then no, that's not connected. However there may be a reference to that at some point in the future. You'll see.

And you actually spoiled a joke I was going to use in the next chapter where he DOES use a frying pan he took from the kitchen lol. Not to worry, you'll see how it comes into play.
