Oh, my mom adores the broadway show! I grew up listening to her old record of the songs. Did you hear they might remake it into a Hollywood film?

Superhobbit In reply to RKanimation [2012-07-19 20:46:17 +0000 UTC]

It isnt a might. It's coming to theaters in December. Cant wait! Hugh Jackman is Jean Valjean, Russel Crow is Javert, and Ann Hatheway is Fantine.

Ooh exciting line up... 'cept for Ann Hatheway. Grant it, she will probably be amazing.

look up the trailer, she sings a little bit of "I dreamed a dream", and isnt half bad. She's no Lea Salonga, but she doesnt tank it either,

I'm also looking forward to 'The Hobbit'. You?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RKanimation In reply to Superhobbit [2012-07-22 16:53:25 +0000 UTC]

Not particularly. I don't understand why they are remaking something that was already a success. Unless they actually cut out all those long-winded pans that increase the first movie's time.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Superhobbit In reply to RKanimation [2012-07-22 19:18:11 +0000 UTC]

They aren't remaking anything. It's an adaption of the book that was written before the Lord of the Rings, a prequel.

RKanimation In reply to Superhobbit [2012-07-23 15:28:47 +0000 UTC]

Oh interesting, are some of the original actors in it?

Superhobbit In reply to RKanimation [2012-07-24 13:41:13 +0000 UTC]

All the original actors make a return, except for Bilbo, because the original actor is to old now.

Bwahaha! XD Sorry, first time I heard it called that. Nah, it's not really too bad. It's a free browser MMORPG(goes to the website to make sure ^-^; ). The company that made it, Artix Entertainment, they made a game called DragonFable that I played and they I got hooked on AQW.

Hah. I live in a small town too, but I end up getting into a lot of drama lately. =.=; It's great when I go to school because I don't encounter a lot of social stress aside from schoolwork.

Haha! XD Mine may or may not include preferring a lazy afternoon of drawing, having the need to break into a random accent, talking in gibberish, singing with notes and not words, recalling movies more than homework, and the always fun "if I hate you, I don't give a damn" glare.

RKanimation In reply to Superhobbit [2012-08-03 16:07:51 +0000 UTC]

Hrm... A lot of randomness. The stereotype "mostly Disney", this little number called "Water and Fire Child", "The Swan Princess" (I never liked the sequels), "Journey Through Fairy Land", "Little Nemo", "Lucky and Zorba" based off the book "The Story of the Seagull and the Cat Who Taught Her to Fly", "The Wild Swans" a russian animation, Wallace and Gromit shorts, "Land Before Time" (again, the first, not sequels), "Matilda"(I spelled it wrong), "Homeward Bound", "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", "The American Tale: Goes West" (I liked the sequel more than the original), "McClintock" (Yes, that's a western with John Wayne), and that's about what I can remember.

I hated all the Disneys except for Beauty and the Beast, Atlantis, and Treasure Planet. My sister made me watch the Swan Princess, which i loved. I didnt watch Who framed Roger Rabbit until recently. HILARIOUS! My mom raised us on Narnia and LOTR(My name is Luci, for pitys sake) and i have a healthy obsession with musicals.

RKanimation In reply to Superhobbit [2012-08-04 05:25:15 +0000 UTC]

I like most of all the Disney films ("Like" is different than "love"), the only one I really disliked was "Tangled". It just didn't sit well with me. I personally dislike most musicals; I did enjoy Mamma Mia, Chicago, and I kinda want to see Nine. Musicals are just too cheery... I feel like I should see Les Miserables (butchered it, I know). I never did get on the LOTR craze, but I probably will whenever I have the time to pick up a book. Narnia I enjoyed greatly. However, the ironic thing about that was I found British original films of the recent three ones and I grew up with them ("Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe", "Prince Caspin" and "Voyage of the Dawn Treader"). I still have them, but the first one broke T.T
