I'm a fan of the series and of good cosplay. Β This is a well done Senketsu and a truly awesome wig to compliment it. Β I looked through your other cosplay after seeing this piece and now have a question if you don't mind. Β
Kill La Kill is not exactly modest when it comes to fashion and skin showing, and looking at your other cosplays, you tend to do more modest characters. Β So what was it about this character and this costume that made you change your mind? Β Just curious about the thought process for doing something like this.

none of my costumes are modest in terms of effort. I put lot of time into anything I'm interested in cosplaying. I really love the premise of Kill La Kill; it's twisted and action packed and all about killer garments. As well, I love the character. It's true I don't usually do sexy outfits, since I don't consider myself sexy or able to pose sexily at ALL, so I figured I had that in common with Ryuko's attitude and I might as well see if I could do something on the other end of spectrum for once. Β
Besides that I felt a bit bored with cosplay so this was a major challenge with new materials and prop-building

Sorry to interrupt, but, wow, do not be mistaken, I can see by this and your other pictures that you are very, very sexy, and beautiful. And you ARE able to pose sexily. Being sexy is actually a simple thing and you do it effortlessly. Just saw your tutorial for the boobs, and that pose you do in the last picture (the gif) is specially sexy. ^^ Maybe you should consider doing more cosplays like this. It turned out great.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't suggesting your cosplay skills were modest, quite the contrary, some of them are very well done! Β I was more curious as to what would make someone go outside the box of their norm to dress like Ryuko here. Β Your reasoning is actually quite understandable and I think your take in identifying with Ryuko's attitude is spot on the mark.
