I created her technically weeks ago but I decided to hold off on it especially when I was feeling down. While yes, I still have Tilly, I decided to make an NG for my OC Thel and Alastor because I do ship em hard and while I don't think they would be good parents, my mind couldn't help but explore the ideas of their parenthood if they had a daughter. This is where Calypso was born.

If you want to know what Calypso is like, she's sorta like Ariel from the Little Mermaid. She's adventurous, very kind and a bit of an airhead. In fact, she was inspired from Gabriella from the Little Mermaid TV show who is a mermaid character that is also deaf and mute.

Her wings "hear" for her. They pick up on sounds and mentally let her know when she needs to pay attention, though she doesn't hear anything in her mind. It's more of an instinct thing. The wings may even tell her what someone is saying though mainly on rare occasions. She has no control of this all the time and she still has to rely on sign language and lip reading. Baxter with Alastor's help made her a microphone that will translate what she is signing in a robotic kind of voice.

She loves to dance despite she can't hear music. She can feel the sounds in her wings and dances to the rhythm she feels, even signing to the lyrics of the song.
