Please DO NOT Steal, Redistribute, Nor Use This Image!"That thing is the size of a cat toy! How the hell did you even manage to swallow it?!"
Long story short, this is a what if Stork got stuck with Azilia instead of Lugey when he swallowed the gravitron crystal. So this would be "Life with Azilia". Why would he swallow it if Azilia is one of the good guys? Well, Lugey was still after it. Azilia ran in to help Stork. Stork swallowed the crystal and while Lugey ran away Azilia ran past Lugey, getting in between the two and getting stuck, tumbling down and Lugey gets away.
I have so many questions for that episode. One, how the hell did Stork swallow that thing without choking anyway? It's practically a golf ball with ridges around it. That can't be easy to swallow! I know it's a cartoon but there's some physical logic in it. Example if you get hit, it hurts and it can kill you. Second, Stork is usually not stupid. He has stupid moments once in a blue moon but not that stupid. I was shocked when Stork swallowed it. It would have made more sense if Lugey did but Stork? No!
Third, was this episode made to torture Stork? There wasn't any character development it. At the end yes, but it's never shown again. They don't have any friendship afterwards, least from what I remembered. I mean, granted any Stork focus episode is adorable, but there was no point other than to answer "What would be the most torturous thing for Stork?"
Granted this would also be torturous for Stork but I bet if he had to choose between a smelly fat lizard and a cat that least loves the water so enjoys baths, I think it'd be a no brainer. Azilia hates this too so she wouldn't have a qualm about separating, but at least in my version of this episode, a bit of development would unfold between the two. They would get closer for sure after this little shenanigan.
I'm planning to follow this image up and continue the story a little bit. Stork's head is a little big...I know....I'm still working on drawing him... I've only drawn him like twice so give me a break! D:

I tend to brush away most questions involving the plot of Storm Hawks episodes, just so I can sit back and enjoy it, but you do bring up a good point with the character development. However, ignoring that, I'd still LOVE to see this situation turned into an episode!!!

Yeah, I know it's a cartoon and cartoon logic makes no sense but there's those moments in any cartoon or anime that just make you go "Who the hell came up with this idea?"

The one thing I will give this episode credit is it gives Stork one of the best and what I think is the strongest lines from the series. "Forget what I say. Forget what he says. Just think for yourself!"
It's such a strong message for me, because I think especially young kids get pressured so much by word of mouth, especially with media these days, they tend to forget to think for themselves. I sometimes look to other's for advice so much that, I forget to really think how I should feel about something and need that reminder.
Even years of not watching the series for a while and coming back to it, I always remember that quote, other than Stork saying Cyclonia is "kinda homey". XD

That's true! I hadn't really taken notice of that aspect of the line until you pointed it out. After all, one common characteristic of kids' shows is to deliver morals, and Storm Hawks, I guess, managed to deliver that particular one in a way that was just subtle enough to pass over our heads yet it hides in plain sight. Very clever Nerd Corps!
Why that quote? The "kind homey" one?

The "kinda homey" quote, I don't have an explanation for why I remember that one. I guess it's just one of those that you remember for being so strange. Stork is one of the good guys but at times in the beginning, it almost seem like he would betray his friends with how dark and dread he was. Quotes that like that one he made and singing about his friend's demise, I guess made me think he would betray them. I think I remember expecting them to have an episode where he chooses to be the bad guys and completely abandons his friends and gets redeemed at the end.
The "Calling All Domos" episode is where those thoughts stop, since that's where he actually does show compassion to those that are suffering and then of course, later episodes that showed more of that kinder side to him.

Wow, I can see why you would think that. Stork isn't exactly a team player after all, and the idea would certainly make for a fascinating AU. But, honestly, I don't see that as part of his character. Yes, he says all those things, but I'm not sure he truly means it. Then again, I'm biased as, when I got into the franchise, it was because I saw the last two episodes and then watched the rest of the series, so I was never in doubt of his loyalty.

Well again I stopped believing he would betray them after "Calling All Domos" and especially the episodes in season 2. I only believed that during the early episodes of season 1

Yeah, that episode was the final nail in the coffin for any thoughts of Stork not being dedicated to his team.
