Well decided to actually do Chosovi's mythix and let me tell you, it wasn't easy. Gimp can't handle large image files too long, least mine can't, hence why some of the patterns are slightly lop sided, but not too much I don't think. The program is not outdated, photoshop is not an option for me at this point in time, nor do I need to because Gimp works fine for images under 2k. As for resizing the image, it wouldn't look good and it'd be a mess to clean up.
Anyway,enough of the program woes. I think it turned out fairly decent, be it a little sloppy in some parts. Naturally she has a Native American inspired dress with sunset colors. For the wings I used two stock images in one to create the double layer effect that's associated with Mythix wings (though Mythix wings most will have a triple layer effect).
Will I do Butterflix next? Probably, hopefully I can find a base that won't be as big as this one.
