Please DO NOT Steal, Redistribute, Nor Use This Image! For the Miss Magix contest, I had to make a tarot card using my Winx oc.
I chose the tarot card "The World" and I decided to use Native American symbols to represent the symbolism "The World" card stands for. Reason for this is because my oc, Chosovi and her people are based on Native American culture and would use the same symbols (kinda like how Musa's planet Melody is sorta Asian based). She and her people are very spiritual and the whole journey of life, which is what the World tarot stands for, plays a big part in their spiritual beliefs. That and Chosovi is the Fairy of Nature Spirits, which is another reason for me choosing this tarot.
I was a bit more inspired by the Archangel version of the tarot card, rather than the regular picture associated with this. My mom actually has the archangel ones and I thought that would be a better inspiration for Chosovi. In Chosovi's hands are arrows with little feathers tied to on them. These represent the wands the figure holds in the card.
First Symbol: "The Man in the Maze" stands for life itself as well as nature. This is one of the meanings of this tarot. The journey of life itself, which can be a bit of a maze! One wrong move and it's dead end. Make the right move and you're free but the tricky part is, which path leads you out and which path leads to the dead end?
Why This Symbol Matches Chosovi: Chosovi and her people live among nature in individual tribes. Nature is important to them as well to learn about the journey of life itself. Much like a maze itself, Chosovi's heart is full of pathways and she wants to make the right decisions, especially since she's the chief's daughter and the niece of a medicine man. She struggles to be very independant but at the same time, she has to think about being a chief for her people and learn to lead them.
Second Symbol on the Right : "The Brothers" stands for unity, loyalty, equality, the act of working together and protection. Working hard and do great things for others as well as yourself to bring forth happiness to all. I mainly put this symbol as this was the closest thing to the "hard working" and "bringing joy to others" message that The World tarot has.
Why This Symbol Matches Chosovi: Chosovi is loyal, hard working and protective to her friends, loved ones and to her people and their traditions. If there is something that needs to be done, especially if it benefits herself and/or for those she cares for, chances are she'll stubbornly won't stop until it's done. She is still learning how to be a better team player though, as she can be very independent as well. She's basically the "If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself", which is why she matches the "hard working" element of the card. However, she can be a good team player, when she does realize she needs help or knows when something requires the help of others.
Chosovi, because of this, has learned not to be discriminating, least, she's not quick to do so. She was always taught to see through one's eyes before being quick to judge, as nature itself can be scary and unknown, but that doesn't mean its a bad thing and it's best to learn it than fear it. Despite being very independent, Chosovi does listen with her heart and willing to listen to others to help them. If something is wrong with someone, it does bother her since she can sense it sometimes. It's because of this, she was able to help her love interest Nefire, with his own life struggles.
Symbol on the Left: "The Sun" stands for happiness and peace.
Why This Symbol Matches Chosovi: Chosovi wants to find her own happiness, which she struggles with learning to be a leader and doing what she wants. Going back to the maze, Chosovi wishes to find a path that will make both her and her loved ones happy. Will she be happy being a leader or perhaps, she wants to do other things?
The last symbol below is rather the symbol of life and the world and not really Chosovi. The filled in circle stands for death, the last of the journey. The sun sets for one and rises for another. After a great struggling job in life, eternal sleep is where we find peace or so we supposedly.
The symbols and their meanings were researched and found on these websites www.legendsofamerica.com/na-sy… , www.clipartbest.com/cliparts/a… and www.noao.edu/kpno/usrhnbk/user…
The brushes are all from Pixlr.com which is what I used to put everything together.
The frame and the circle used for the death symbol are from
