After working on this for a week, I finally finished it! I noticed a few people had made angel characters and was inspired by as she took her Villainous characters in turned them into Hazbin characters including angel characters. Kokopelli is my Rise of the Guardians OC that I wasn’t doing much with, except occasionally draw him and wanting an angel character myself, I decided he would fit better as my AU for him in RotG would pretty much fit for Hazbin Hotel. I dunno if there are Native American angels but I’d like to think so. My family has a bit of Native American in them so…So you know, maybe possible. Also I have a thing for making musical winged characters that drowned, huh?
* He’s based on the Southwestern Native American figure, "Kokopelli", who is a hunched back flute deity or spirit. In some stories, he was human. He’s especially prominent in Arizona where he’s from.
* His design is based on hummingbirds and all his colors can be found on hummingbirds specifically the Broadbilled Hummingbird, Buff Bellied Hummingbird, Violet Eared Hummingbird and the Allen’s Hummingbird (for the gold colors).
* Instead of a regular halo, his halo is a sun symbol back halo.
* Feathers on the back get longer when he plays and he will start to resemble the famous figure that represents him.
* Can play drums and use his belly as a drum. (The tattoo on his belly is magical and becomes bigger.) That’s what “pelli” in his name means. “Belly”
* Koko’s kinda the “Anti Thel”. Since he drowned he’s afraid of water. Ironic, since Thel is mostly afraid of heights not water, despite drowning also. (She fell off her ship.) He resembles a bird while Thel resembles a bat, two animals that tend to clash. Hummingbirds will even chase bats on some occasions.
