So recently I got the Little Mermaid Anniversary Edition Combo Set (Not the 4k HD. I wasn't going to pay over 30 bucks for something I can't play. Don't have the required player/tv for it.) and I started thinking about how Asterias wants to make his mother, Charlie proud. He does wish for demons to redeem themselves so things can be possibly peaceful and safe for everyone, especially his family and friends. He does take his job as future king seriously, though with love and joy like his mom does.

When I got the combo set, I started thinking about how Asterias plans to achieve his goals and one idea is that he wishes to go up the surface world, the land of the living and help people go on the right path to Heaven to control the population.

Much like Charlie's idea, though possibly even more impossible, no one really believes this would work as demons aren't allowed at the surface unless summoned and even then, there's restrictions. (You don't summon a demon to do good things.) He dreams big with great heart like his mama but much like mama, there's a lot more to it and it might not seem like a good idea.

Line work needs work obviously but I'm okay with the results. I had a hard time getting the lighting and shading I wanted. E for effort I guess.

"Proud to be Part of Your World" is a reference to both "Proud of Your Boy" from Aladdin and "Part of Your World" from the Little Mermaid. A combo of both goals. Was going to do Charlie and him hugging for mother's day, but I figure a child wanting to make their mother proud is good too!
