Personality:
Shimapan is a very polite and quiet girl, right off the bat. She has no issues interacting with others socially, and most would describe her as giggly and optimistic! She lives by the rule of 'if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all', believing that she can reach anything as long as she follows the path of kindness that her parents set her to walk on. Because of the boring and glum lifestyle she has at home, she's easily amused or starstruck by whatever that happens in Daten. In the end, Shimapan kind of just considers herself another average girl with nothing special about her!

Bio:
Although attending Daten City High, Shimapan actually lives far off in Little Tokyo with her parents. Her family lives off a less-than-steady income made by both of her parents, working as office workers. The Rero family aren't the happiest, but they have high hopes for their daughter. She is the reason they all work hard, and they want the best for her as she grows, even if this is rarely said to her.
Communication is lacking from both ends, as she is usually preoccupied with her studies and her parents are hardly ever home due to work. Most words shared in the family is usually through phone calls or sticky notes left around the house.

Shimapan is fine with this way of living, though. While words are sparse and interaction with her folks are rare, she knows that she loves her parents dearly. She does wonder about their feelings to her, but she assumes their love is as strong as hers. The general idea of this is what keeps her going and smiling.

Her liking to Daten can't be compared to how she feels about Little Tokyo, though. It is definitely not as glum as the city she resides in, and in Daten, everything is exciting! She likes to wander around the city with her friends after school, either window-shopping or to take pictures of any spectacular events involving the angels. These trips usually go on until nighttime. Even if the commute from Daten to Little Tokyo is a long and dreary one, it's always worth it with the new pictures she's taken!

Extra:
- Shimapan doesn't speak a lot of Japanese unlike her parents. She was raised by English, her parents hoping for their daughter to live in America comfortably. She can understand it clearly, but she's still practicing on how to speak it.
- Her interest in photography stems from working on the school newspaper with her friends.
- Shimapan was, and still is, a big fan of the Anarchy sisters! While she never saw them in person, she would always watch news reports about them while attending middle school. Her fascination of the angel lifestyle is because of the well-known duo.

- She usually goes to school in uniform because of the fact that her parents can't afford her flashy cute clothes.
- She currently has a job in fast food back home.
