It's a little silly, but I suppose it makes me wonder, though a god may appear in front of us, how much 'here', or how physically 'real' they can be, when they can disappear in an instant. How much can a god manifest themselves to us without grounding themselves completely to the Earth? Or does their power transcend that, allowing them to travel anywhere instantaneously. Did I spell that right? Just a little thing in my brain

mmh, it's interesting to think about. I guess the gods can choose to be whereever or whatever they want to be (in the confines of certain "guidelines" their role and character has, like Mic being able to be a spider or a skeleton or a handsome man, but probably not a fish, or a cat/jaguar, because those are not of his realm of influence/not associated with him) - I think they are bound by what humans imagine them to be, but with enough power they can bend those mentioned guidelines...
as for the grounding to Earth, I think it's not a problem for a god to be corporeal and manifest in one second and like a ghost in the wind in the next. But it's something Metz is of course marveling over, because to a human it seems impossible (and it is of course).
