Now in colour! I finally got around to finishing something. But only because today is the only day in weeks that I've just been doing nothing. I'm doped out to all hell on painkillers because this toothache I woke up with is so excrutiatingly painful. =\ But at least it gave me time and inspiration to finish this. So technically, I did this entire thing doped up on Oxycodone. Haw! I can't say I'm at all satisfied with the colouring, but I never am. However, I did decide on Quito's new markings. And this is it. More papillon like. And is it me or does Dimitri look like a vampire?Anyway, I had a lot of fun doing this, so I hope Jolyn likes what I did with it. I love you, honey. ;__;

Ohgod!!! I was already in love with this when I just saw the sketch, and now that it's in color I am just blown away.
You captured him SO. PERFECTLY. So very perfectly! Gosh where do I even begin... first off I want to say how I like the title, Nihil Audio... like... no sound, since she'd be hearing nothing and such and yes it's a lovely play of words.
I REALLY like Mosquito's markings! The bits of black on the face in place of the darker tan you'd been using looks really good, and as you said, more papillon-ish! She looks SO gorgeous... her eyes are so beautiful, and the shading on the fur is really great, especially in those ears! And what gorgeous purple hair! So stringy and lovely. The angle of her face is just awesome, and again I must say how much I like the positioning of her hand on the stethoscope over his chest. And her wearing no shirt = the best.
OK NOW I SQUEAL ABOUT DIMITRI.
HE LOOKS SO SO SO SOOOO SEXY!! O____O His FACE. God. You're right, he really does look vampiric here, which is all too suiting cause well... he's Dimitri and he bites people with his poison and shit and yadda yadda... the upside down view of his muzzle is so nice, and god again the EYES are so piercing!! Those eyelashes are so sexy.
You got everything just perfect... from markings to tattoos to piercings everything just screams Dimitri. I like how the shading on the tattoos is kinda different than the fur. Oh my goodness look at his hair! The way it's just flowing down like that... and how you did the black blending into the purple, it's so smooth and flows so nicely. Same as all the purple to black areas, like his ears and feathers! And I like how you made his spots sorta fade so gently into the white of his fur.
The skirt is lovely, I like the folds and how you can like, feel the direction it's flowing if that makes any sense.
Oh and I really like how his hand is positioned on his stomach like that, you draw hands so nicely! And speaking of hands, you got his stripes! I don't know if anyone's ever drawn him with them before.
Gosh Crow I'm sorry if I sound stupid or if I forgot to mention something, I'm just so excited right now and kinda in a hurry too. But I must tell you how amazed I am of you... you've improved so much recently, I know I've said this a lot but it's true. I just love all the perspective here and the anatomy. Gosh there are so many things that make this so special to me... it's from you, it's got one of my favs of your charas ever in it, it's got Dimitri and Mosquito interacting and their relationship is special, and just... so much LOVE!!!!

This came out -so- beautifully. I love the faces, and the poses (I especially like Mosquito's rib/underbreast-area and Dimitri's hand resting on his tummy) are so well-rendered! It really is nice to look at ;; I'm sure Jolyn will love it ♥~

This is amazing, Crow. I think it's the best piece of work I've seen from you so far! (though, I'm sure there are more to come :3)
The coloring is magnificent. Great texture on the fur, it's very believable.
The perspective is awesome, and so are the faces on the characters. The structure of the faces is...just...wow. I love this style you've got going on, too. I adore their lips and eyes, especially.
