Good gosh, many thanks for the feature; Am honoured and flattered to be included alongside your journal feature with other amazing pieces Am delighted that you took an interest in this piece in particular, as it was during one of our experimental phases with developing a new colouring methodology with Paint Tool SAI, plus it features one of our favourite original characters who was scheduled to be remastered ^_^

Awww thanks; Yeah, despite trying to make her eyes look robotic/non-human, am still glad how the eyes turned out (I daresay shinier and prettier than Shinichi's XD) Haha yeah, I did actually almost chose to blur/water shade the hair, but realised I rather much prefer it this way so that it looks somewhat shinier also, thanks ^_^ And thank you sooo much again; The background was an exciting challenge indeed, despite most of it being blurred out and covered by the balcony (or wait... Maybe that's a good thing to hide the lack of effort actually \XP)

Thanks again for the kind feedback as always, Cera Hoping to draw more of her again soon, though not sure if I'll be able to gain back the time, patience and motivation to use this style for a while ^_^" Hopefully with more practice and getting used to, will be able to adopt this digital edit methodology permanently ^_^

Awww, thank you so much, Keali; Really delighted on your kind comments and feedback as always VIOLA-19's gentle curiosity with birds has always been a side of her I always loved to design/sketch (she does have the deadlier unstoppable Terminator-like killing machine side too, but I prefer depicting the gentler naive side of her for obvious reasons XD)

Haha awww, how considerate and kind of you to think that way for VIOLA-19; An excellently reasonable suggestion indeed Sadly, not saying it's wrong or inaccurate, but just that I considered and chose the title mainly because of how it references the original Artificial Intelligence definition and the fact that she's displaying innocence instead (one could argue though, that her 'innocence' displayed here is still considered 'intelligence,' since it may be that her design is able to emulate an emotion that is considered 'cleverer/higher' than an average machine/robot from the series).

Whether or not she is faking this innocence is a very good question; When I scripted her design (and quite a lot of other robot OC's of ours) this is a common theme along many others for robot/AI characters I liked to explore about through the story (e.g. Emotions, self-awareness, other concepts such as freedom, perception of humanity etc.). Sadly, it is not one I can answer yet, not because of spoilers but more because I'm still mentally debating about it myself But if anything, I would prefer to think that her emotions are real or at least being used for genuinely sincere reasons too, as opposed to faking it (Man, do I sound so corny right now, sorry) ^_^"

Sorry to bother you with that rant; You managed to raise a very interesting question that I've actually always enjoyed tackling during my script works Thanks again, Keali!

Yes, I can readily understand why her innocent side fits better.

And thank you for the long "rant." It shows that you did in fact think about the title, which I assumed you did. ^^ And the rant let me delve further into her make-up as well.

It's always fun to answer challenging questions! But not so easy to ask them. I'm always worried I'll strike a nerve, and people will get upset at me. XD

Haha thanks, Blofu; But nah, it's just a simple cliched trick for a good majority of robot/machine characters by simply adding some numbers on a word for their name

Aw thanks; Am glad you think so too ^_^ There's something about that cute innocence of an artificial robot girl's eyes that I was intrigued to hopefully capture from her character

Funnily enough actually, the eyes were from a combination of SAI Anime Eye tutorials and some random inspirational Google images of Aigis that I stumbled upon during my research. Boy, have I been missing out some cute/cool Robot Girl character references

She has this grace to her that I admire, particularly that air of innocence. She also looks like one of the Beware the Nice Ones type, as pushing the wrong button will be the last thing anyone would want to do.

That, and it's nice to have an AI that isn't trying to kill you just because it has crossed the line over sapience xD
