here's the ancient angsty doodle i was talking about :v spoilers for PMD: Gates to Infinity

so Hero travels to a faraway dungeon, falls right into a trap, gets separated from their partner, fights for dear life alone (that was pretty hard. i almost died back at Daybreak Ridge :'D ), gets cornered by some tough enemies, and is knocked off a cliff. It's already some really nerve wracking ordeal, but going through all of this on their own? Without their partner to lean on??? I would be traumatized. If Hero didn't faint back then, I imagine they would be crying their eyes out, even if the only shoulder they can cry on is this mysterious' monster they saw in their dreams. Hero can't make heads or tails of this situation, and they are so, so tired. Hydreigon just lets them cry it out, angry at Munna for almost wiping out the only hero he has left. He won't let them get hurt again. (good luck going through this lvl 64 Dark/Dragon beast)

edit: it's in low resolution because I was writing a fanfiction about this scene and this was going to be the cover (these are cover dimensions, I think). but alas, i can't finish writing pieces to save my life
