Usually. A light shade, a medium, and then a dark. Sometimes there are more, but it depends on the color and the aviablability of markers.

Where did you buy them? I know this sound like a weird question, seeing how you don't know where I live but I would just like an idea of what kinds of stores to look for.

Well, I live in Canada, and buy them at Island Blue. They also have them at Opus, I think. They're both just normal art supplies stores. Beyond that, I don't really know where they're sold.
