Description

Notes: If any Sentai series deserves the Amazons treatment, it would probably be either JAKQ or (the subject of this miniseries) Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. It has an amazing premise (Dinosaur Knights in a world of magic and danger, where friends and foes lurk on every side), but didn't really use it very well up until halfway through the series. Essentially, this version of Zyuranger is more along the lines of Lord of the Rings with Dinosaurs. It takes place entirely in a fantasy world separate from Earth, the characters are given more depth and the Dinosaur mythos is explored in more detail.
Now we get to the only Zyuranger who wasn't on the show, at least not as a main character. Instead of being human like the others, Brachio Ranger is the avatar of King Brachion made flesh to serve the will of the Gods. He is neither good nor evil, both aiding and fighting the Zyurangers if the Gods will it. However, in the finale, it's revealed who he truly is; Kai. After being killed by a dinosaur for breaking its' eggs, he was brought back to life as an avatar for Brachion to punish him for his crimes. Once Bandora is sealed away, the Gods' curse is lifted and Kai can return to the afterlife.
