Notes: If any Sentai series deserves the Amazons treatment, it would probably be either JAKQ or (the subject of this miniseries) Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. It has an amazing premise (Dinosaur Knights in a world of magic and danger, where friends and foes lurk on every side), but didn't really use it very well up until halfway through the series. Essentially, this version of Zyuranger is more along the lines of Lord of the Rings with Dinosaurs. It takes place entirely in a fantasy world separate from Earth, the characters are given more depth and the Dinosaur mythos is explored in more detail.

Next up is Mei, Princess of the Lithia Tribe and greatest among their archers. Unlike in the original, she won't be the only girl on the team. Other than that, her character is mostly unchanged, saved for one important divergence. That being; her punk phase is how she starts off, before gradually maturing into the Mei fans know and love.
