Notes: If any Sentai series deserves the Amazons treatment, it would probably be either JAKQ or (the subject of this miniseries) Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. It has an amazing premise (Dinosaur Knights in a world of magic and danger, where friends and foes lurk on every side), but didn't really use it very well up until halfway through the series. Essentially, this version of Zyuranger is more along the lines of Lord of the Rings with Dinosaurs. It takes place entirely in a fantasy world separate from Earth, the characters are given more depth and the Dinosaur mythos is explored in more detail.

Here's where the original series and this remake differ the most. Instead of Boi, the fairly serious and bland-ish kid of the group who didn't really contribute much to the series, this Tiger Ranger is Chi (or in the original, Chisato Kameda). Outside of her hatred of carrots and lack of cooking expertise, Chi is a much different character than Boi. She is quiet, stern and fearless in battle, but socially awkward and flighty when talking to people.
