Notes: If any Sentai series deserves the Amazons treatment, it would probably be either JAKQ or (the subject of this miniseries) Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. It has an amazing premise (Dinosaur Knights in a world of magic and danger, where friends and foes lurk on every side), but didn't really use it very well up until halfway through the series. Essentially, this version of Zyuranger is more along the lines of Lord of the Rings with Dinosaurs. It takes place entirely in a fantasy world separate from Earth, the characters are given more depth and the Dinosaur mythos is explored in more detail.

Next up is the Knight of the Etof Tribe, Dan. For the most part, he is largely the same character. Goofy, cunning, a bit clumsy and not good at keeping his voice down. However, unlike the original Dan, he is not a skirt chaser. Namely because, as the youngest next to Chi, he's not at that stage yet. In fact, he's not even a proper Knight, having taken on the mantle after his father died to honour his memory.
