Yeah about that nuke thing, he actually didn't survive it, you see he would of stayed dead, had an random crow not came by, something that happened by luck.

Actually the crow simply accelerated his regeneration he would have simply sat either in the ocean or on land as a pile of slime until his body naturally reproduced enough biomass (Which it does slowly over time) Or something alive decided to poke at him.
Either way Mercer was not in any capacity dead...

Found out aboutΒ Prototype 2Β from a friend.
Saw Alex in a cutscene.
From then on always wanted the game.
Never found the first part.
Bought the second one.
Played it.
Screamed in delight whenever Alex appeared.
Screamed in Frustration whenever Heller refused.
Cried as Heller killed Alex.
I will Play the game continuously just to see Mercer!

Man, play the first one, the graphics and gameplay in the second is better but first one got deeper story and u get to play with Alex, wich is cooler than Heller, but I like James and the new infected in Proto 2, specially the evolved.

Alex is complicated, he started the first outbrake cuse Blackwatch was killing Gentek Scientists, and were experimenting on innocent, still he is an ass for starting the second outbrake.
He is the same in both games, at second he is the villan, but the first he confess to be a killer/terrorist/madscientist and he still is awesome!

Like I said, we like our villains more than our heroes. Alex didn't have a problem with civilians being used for experiments; if he did, he wouldn't have been part of the project that long. And it wasn't his fellow Gentek scientists he had a problem with them going after either; it was going after and killing him. Outside of his sister and that girlfriend we saw for that one tiny part in the first game, I never got the impression he cared about anyone but himself.Β
Not disagreeing with you, though. Alex Mercer is a villain, an ass, and awesome. And that's who we like.Β

Well I supose you are right, Alex might not have problems with civilian experiments, otherwise he would not have reached leading role in Gentek.
I guess he likes to see himself as the virus cuse it is better than a heartless man, also I supose he could not do much to fight the Blackwatch then, just when it was too dangerous for himself he took desparate measures.
But I guess he had some humanity, but was powerless to stop the human testing or beleived the reserch intu the virus was too important to worry about lab rats, like most scientists do.

For some reason I didn't (and I still don't) belive that was acctually Mercer you fought but his darker, eviler half Zeus. At least that's what I think

Man, I hated when I saw him as evil boss too, but remember the first one, Alex claims to be a terrorist/killer, so he never really been a good guy, he just do not care anymore.
Or maybe Elizabeth Greene took over his body, as I hope Alex does with Heller in Proto 3.

Do not lose hope man, I still play both games, and if we keep the pressure some smart business man will see how awesome it is, and how much money they can make.
I like to call Prototype the Resident Evil backwards, where you play the monster instead of the "weak good guy", I wanted a game like this since Resident Evil 2, too tired of runing from braindamaged zombies when bullets run out.

I thought the aesthetics were pretty nice in P2, but the cutscenes only consisted of black white and red, unlike the first one which had color. I thought it was pretty unique. But I think that Alex controls smoothly than heller in my opinion(and Alex has more creative combos other than Hellers "falcon kick"), that's why I only play the first game more

True Alex had more creative combos than Heller did and was much faster than him becuasr Helled was bigger than Alex. But in P2 there wasn't an us end EVERYTIME to didn't use a mutations for a long time, but in terms of appearances Alex's blade looked more sleek and demonic while Heller's had more of brutish sort of appearance and had saw like teeth. And yeah Alex had smoother controls than Heller did so I prefer P1

i also wish radical wouldve filled the plotholes of P1 such as the mystery behind pariah and stuff like they never mention him. also what happened to ragland did he evacuate did he get killed urgh why didn't radical answer these questions!?!?!
