My second fav Sonic villain XDThe almighty,fearful,malevolent,chaotic and remarkable villain of Sonic 06.Yes,I know 06 is one of Sonic´s most infamous titles,but this guy´s performance was just brilliant.He is a true hearted evil,a master manipulator,a psychopath who wants to see time torn apart and an evil badass at the same time.Please SEGA,give Mephiles another chance!
Dan Green´s voice acting just fitted him perfectly.You really feel the "darkness" expressed by his voice > : D

I agree with you, Sonic 06 wasn't as terrible as most people say it was, and Mephiles was one of the reasons why. Another cool thing about him is that he's based on the False Prophet Demon, "Mephistopheles."

Exactly!SEGA nailed it when they gave him that name.Let´s not forget that he is the first villain in the Sonic franchise to actually kill the Blue Blur.And of course,that laugh...>: )

My only real problem with him is that he acted like a total coward most of the time in battle. He'd usually let his minions do most of the work while remaining hidden, and usually attacked himself from behind, when they weren't aware, or when the enemy is already weakened. Aside from that, he was still pretty darn cool.
However, I still find The Nocturnus Clan and The Metarex to be more awesome than Mephiles, but Mephiles still comes rather close.

I understand your point!Neither I like characters that have coward tactics.If he got himself into the fights like Shadow does(Without help most of the times and like a ture warrior),then he would be a badass just like him

The Nocturnus Clan are the main villains from Sonic Chronicles, The Dark Brotherhood. They are a race of technologically advanced echidnas and are the ones who created Emerl. Shade The Echidna is a former member of them too.
