Finally decided to make a headshot of DMB's demigod form: www.deviantart.com/televideodm… since I always liked that design. After watching MK1's story mode and witnessing how awesome Fire God Liu Kang and Raiden are, it inspired me even more. DMB is also able to use fire in this state, but I wanted to shift the focus to lightning here. Mostly because my recent artworks of him had fire/flames prominently on them.

I would imagine that much Liu Kang being the protector of Earthrealm, DMB would enjoy having some god-like abilities at his disposal to fight against his enemies and help his allies. I can also picture him being more wise, calm and even more deadly when the moment calls for it.
