So, I've been taking a Photoshop course and this was my work for the final exam (actually, there was only one
). It's a butterfly with cat, white tiger and puma's eyes on a cheetah's fur background (at least the fur looks like it...
). I then used some masks and filters to get the final look.The 4 images used were from the magazine Photoshop Creative's issue 63's CD.
Estive recentemente a tirar um curso de Photoshop e isto foi o meu trabalho para o exame final (também, foi o único
). É uma borboleta com olhos de um gato, um tigre branco e de um puma com um fundo de pêlo de chita (pelo menos é o que parece... ). Depois usei máscaras e filtros para obter o resultado final.As 4 imagens usadas são do CD do nº 63 da revista da Photoshop Creative.

i take photoshop in school and i couldn't pull off a fraction of this!

This was in a short photoshop course I did. In this "final exam" we were encouraged to use stock images and LOADS of filters. Add some blending options on top of that and taa-dah!
But I ended up with a over 1 Gig file with too many layers to be considered sane to work with...

I really don't remember. It was some years ago and I don't think I have the file around...
But we were using a weird method to apply the filters (the teacher wanted it like that) so that each filter was in a new layer or something like that.
Must've been over 20 layers. Plus all the masks. Plus the filter things.

Beautiful! I love the colors, and the placement of the eyes looks very "natural" for butterfly markings.
