Description
Commission for of her characters Mareina and Canser, two characters who just can't catch a break as far as their relationship goes-- because of conflicting loyalties, they can't be together. SAD! She asked me to convey a "bittersweet" sort of relationship, and I hope I hit the mark.

And yeah... honestly, it took me a LONG time to learn how to draw decent boots, shoes and feet. I'm still not that great at them, but I think these came out really well. FEET ARE HARD MAN.

I think you can consider the mark most certainly hit. Canser looks like he's enjoying the moment even if he knows it won't last, while Mareina just looks distressed and wanting D: It's very sad, but certainly shows how deep their relationship is.
On a less affective level, dear god their boots. I LOVE THEM. And I want them. And I love the texturing on his coat and their pants, too. They look so goood.
